Aachi Global school is an IB world school based in Chennai (Anna Nagar). AGS is
the first school to introduce Interactive Based Learning Module (IBL) of Hongkong in
the city.
3. History
The school is founded by Mrs
Rebekah Abishek of the Aachi
group in 2016, an MBA graduate
and an avid educational traveller.
Aachi Global School started as a
pre-school cum nursery with 19
students has grown into a primary
educational centre in two years
with the following programs- Play
Group, Nursery, Junior KG, Senior
KG, Grade 1 and Grade 2.
4. Curriculum
The school follows IB (International
Baccalaureate) curriculum, that offers a
continuum of International education, where
the programs encourage both personal and
academic achievements. AGS has acquired
PYP (Primary Years Programme) candidacy,
which exclusively aims at young learners up to
8 years of age. The activity oriented
curriculum prepares students to become
active, caring and independent, and are able to
participate in the world around them.
Basically, IB focuses on the holistic
development of a child.

The school’s vision is to create a learning
environment that enables children to
absorb and adapt from their
surroundings. The activity-based
curriculum and well-trained teachers
allow children to mould their knowledge
and be aware of their talents and
interests. The school also believes family
plays a vital role in the child’s educational
phase and thus programs demand the
involvement of the parents too.
7. Since its inception as a nursery, AGS has been keen on keeping child safety as one of its
primary concerns. The building and infrastructure facilities in the Aachi Global School
meets international standards and guidelines. Also, the school assures to maintain a safe
and secured learning environment for the kids.
Entry to the school premises is enabled only by the access controlled-main door. The
school premises are under CCTV surveillance 24*7 to monitor child safety. All the
restrooms are equipped with child-friendly closets where hygiene is maintained and
checked on a regular basis. The educators and non-teaching staffs are both trained in
basic first aid practices, thus can be of help during the emergency.
As part of the student safety and health care, the school has a paediatrician on board,
along with hospital tie-ups to manage any unpredicted emergencies.
