SUMMARY
26 years of development and creativity! I'm looking for the perfect job: Non-repetitive, varied, flexible,
challenging.
I'm Microsoft.NET oriented analyst/developer and I'm always looking how to integrate new technologies
in projects. I like to work on specific projects where I can bring my creativity to help people in managing
their business, and bring the right tools to them.
Those last years I have been used to work with Umbraco, Sitecore for CMS systems, and to develop web
applications using the MVC framework and web technologies as Jquery, Bootstrap, Less...
ACTIVITIES
I only feel like myself when I discover a new country, I'm used since I'm young to travel, and this what I do
2/3 times a year. In the late time, I started also todo photography as I noticed I was getting out of my mind
and didn't remembered some place I already went. Here you can find some of my pics :
https://500px.com/LaurentLequenne
In the everyday life, I'm used to take care of my boy as soon I have a moment, and I'm a top player
scrabble, and playing some tournaments at my free hours.. I'm also playing badminton for 28 years now.
Unfortunately it is some activity I can't manage for now.

LEAD DEVELOPER AT EVENTDRIVE
April 2013 – December 2014
EventDrive is a Webapplication to manage your events online and on-field. Production team together with
the customer can handle the complete event from the plateform from the registrations, to the checkins
and after event reports.
PROJECTS
MAINTENANCE
Custom Development to maintain the huge existing EventDrive Plateform (with a mix of technologies) and
support customers to bring solutions to the specificitties of their events.
EVENTMASTERS ACTIVITIES WEBSHOP
Development in MVC of a webshop to help key customers of Eventmasters to order activities within their
department budgets. The webshop is multilingual and is using Lucene.NET to perform facetted search on
the activities.
CROSSDRIVE WEB APPLICATION
The new platform of Eventdrive that is rewritten using latest .NET features and where the communication
is integrated within Sitecore. The project has been developed in collaboration with Cegeka. My main
contribution (beside the weekly stories to be developed) was code reviews, setup of the layout and the
javascript to setup a standardized way to work with forms, grids, and treeviews, and development of the
Lucene.NET index builders and Facetted search (Backend and frontend). Foundry was on top of Sitecore,
sites were created dynamically and the content pushed through web services to the Sitecore Instance. The
backend of the application is a MVC application
ROCME WEBSITE (WWW.ROCME.EU)
The Sitecore rocme website is the corporate site of Eventdrive, and has been developped at 100% by
myself. It uses a lot of customized features, working with pipelines , sitecore events, or custom
datasources. It has also some customized nice features from the backend, to allow page edition using
bootstrap widgets, and grid systems, and have better layout templates (Sitecore doesn't handle layout
inheritance). A nice facet search on the blogs has been implemented. Actually even it is running, the
website is not finalized. As all development has been stopped since december 2014.

SENIOR CMS & CUSTOM SOLUTION DEVELOPER AT DIGIPOINT
May 2002 - May 2011 (9 years +)
Custom & CMS Development using Microsoft Technologies and CMS such as Umbraco, Sitecore.
SOME PROJECTS
BRIDGESTONE FOR MOTORBIKES (HTTP://WWW.BRIDGESTONE.CO.UK/MOTO/)
Bridgestone moved (and is moving) all their websites on Sitecore. This one was the first in queue. As first
Sitecore project, i developped 70% of the website : HTML cutout from design agency, creation of the
widget templates, home page, news, knowledge base, articles, and product search.
This website is using extensively Lucene indexes to perform all the data collection, and filtering.
UMBRACO PROJECTS:
I have developed and implemented over 20 projects from A-Z. Hereunder a sample:
2010: Augustinians: http://www.findingaugustinians.org/en/search/search.aspx:
 Library search for the Augustinian library. The main feature is the search of the site that is a
custom development, with an original navigation, enabling you to navigate easily through the
complete library.
 The back-end has been written outside Umbraco, and is based on some overloaded Telerik
interfaces to disable all .NET postbacks, using JQuery and Web services.
2011: Sarens: http://www.sarens.com
Based on a framework I developed to offer a fast development framework for Umbraco and enabling some
missing features of the product.
 Multiple sites, multiple languages.
 Advanced Search engine with Lucene.
 Widgets system to help end user to add web parts dynamically on every page.
 Advanced data provider, to access external sources.
With this framework, we could develop the Sarens Website in +/- 2 weeks to enable the customer to
create his corporate site, and sub-sites for every country.
2012: Bescherm mijn idee: http://www.beschermmijnidee.be/ie-scan.aspx
ICT-Test: http://www.kmo-it-test.be
Applications to poll people about intellectual property and IT integration in companies. At the end of the
poll, the user receives a PDF with an overview of his results. Beyond this, the user periodically receives
newsletters related to the strengths or weaknesses of his previous answers.
I developed many other Umbraco applications such as :
 the sites created by Dixie Dansercoer : http://www.circles.cc, Antarctic Matters
 Top Study In Belgium
 www.groepvanroey.be : a set of sites and minisites for the Groep Van Roey, with a search on all
projects they are currently working.
 Some temporary sites for different companies for Base, Mobistar, FEB, …
EVENTDRIVE REGISTRATION FLOWS
As consultant, I developed a registration application for their online event plateform. The application was
divided into two parts and written in classic ASP.NET with some Ajax features:
 a backend where the users could create their own customized registrations with a complete
control on the flow of the registration, with drag and drop of Steps of registrations, questions, and
linking of the different steps.
 The frontend where people could register for an event, create invitations, or administrate the
created registrations.
PHP PROJECTS
2006 - Certipost Webshop: https://www.certipost.be/webshop/index.php?language=nl
 Reengineering of the existing webshop of Certipost to buy certificates using osCommerce.
Frontend and backend parts.
2002 - Wannadoo Belgium:
 Helping the existing team in developing the backend - specifically the Dealer sales part.
 Writing custom real time management reports.
WINFORM PROJECTS
2009 : Application for Schtroumphs registration.
Mobile application used during a mobile contest in different towns of Europe, to take pictures of the best
Schtroumphs, register the artist, and send to their website slideshow.
2007-2008 : Application for pre-electoral registration in developing countries
Complete winform application to create custom registrations for elections in emerging countries. The
application could register people, take finger prints, ID Card pictures, and print customized electoral ID
Card.
2004-2010 : TopMachine – A scrabble training application : To play scrabble in various ways offline or
online, and train with small games to discover and memorize words. The scrabble module is divided into
polymorphic components that enables infinite play settings (Grid Size, number of letters to use,
Online/Offline, there is even a clabbers module)
DEVELOPER & EVENT MANAGEMENT AT ORGANISPORT / TVDATA
January 1988 - January 2002 (14 years +)
SPORT EVENTS DEVELOPMENT AND MANAGEMENT
Development of applications for sports and game events: Rankings, live statistics, broadcast display.
Management of applications in 8 Paris-Dakar, 5 Rallye de Tunisie, hundreds of soccer, tennis, basketball,
biking events, TV game shows.
My contribution was to build the software to manage those events, and to be on the field to provide the
media with all the information. I start developing in Visual basic, and moved step by step in C++, with
Visual Studio first, and later with Borland C++ Builder (that was more advanced in GUI components, and
had a nice framework => before Microsoft.NET).
