Malibu Compost is more than just another company. It’s our family, friends, and rescue animals.
It’s our farmers who strive to nurture their animals and land amidst an environment of increasingly
massive factory farms. Most importantly, it’s the passion we share with our customer in helping to
protect our environment through the use of Biodynamic principles. Sustaining people, sustaining
planet, sustaining commerce. Malibu Compost strives to be ecologically and socially responsible
in everything we do because healing our world means fixing
every part of it.
Not all composts are the same. Malibu Compost products are
hand-crafted, using only fully finished compost that is made
according to traditional Biodynamic practices. By partnering
with regional family farms, we provide a new
source of revenue, thereby sustaining their
livelihood and standard of animal care while
providing us with organic manures of the
highest quality and integrity. Our products are
proudly Demeter-certified Biodynamic®, the
highest agricultural standard in the world.

4. Next, specific Biodynamic preparations
are stirred using a three step flow form,
each one with a specific intent and
function within your plant’s systems.
These liquefied preparations are then
applied by hand to each batch using a
backpack sprayer.
Prior to packaging, each batch is hand-
screened to less than 1/4” to allow
for improved dissolution. Then each
individual tea bag is carefully filled by
hand, tied at the top, and hand-packed
for shipping to our customers.
Why Compost Tea?
Gardeners are discovering the ease of
caring for the entire garden with safe
and non-toxic compost teas. Compost
teas introduce colonies of beneficial
bacteria and fungi to soil and foliage,
providing necessary nutrients while
creating stronger, more resilient plants.
Malibu Compost compost teas start with a base of our certified Biodynamic® compost.
Each batch is then carefully hand-crafted. First, we apply a microbial compost tea
derived from our own Biodynamic compost and a few extra treats.

7. Biodynamic agriculture began in the 1920’s and is the
grandfather of the modern organic movement. While
organic agriculture rightly aims to halt the devastation
caused by humans, it has no cure for the ailing Earth.
Biodynamic agriculture provides the cure by treating
the soil as a living organism rather than a support
system. And, like any living organism, the better the
food it consumes, the stronger it will become. That’s
where Malibu Compost comes in.
MOOOO....I’m Bu. YES! I am no longer a number
stapled to my ear. I have a name and people who
love me. I get to stand under trees in a pasture
with my sons and fellow cows. I get to smell
flowers and wet grass--which is light years from
where I came from standing in poop up to my you
know what. I have been given a second chance
at life in my role as Malibu Compost “spokescow”
and unofficial ambassador for animal rights.
On behalf of dairy cows everywhere, I just wanna
say, thanks for supporting us.

What the BLEEP is Biodynamic?
“Biodynamic agriculture... is necessary not only for the sake of
somehow improving agriculture, but so that human life on earth
can continue at all, since as physical beings we depend on what
the earth provides.” -Rudolf Steiner

DETOX YOUR LAWN™
Coming Fall 2014....a revolution in lawn care
Why Bu’s Blades™? Because it’s time to detox our lawns.
The health of our children, ourselves and our planet de-
pend on it. We love our grassy spaces, but not the
addiction to chemical and synthetic lawn care.
Our lawns, our pets, the bees, the birds, the butterflies
and the microbial life within our soil deserve more.
