3. The Big Ben.
● Big Ben is the nickname for the great bell of the
clock at the north end of the Palace of Westminster
in London, and often extended to refer to the clock
and the clock tower. The tower is now officially
called the Elizabeth Tower, after being renamed to
celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth
II. The Elizabeth Tower holds the largest four-faced
chiming clock in the world and is the third-tallest
free-standing clock tower.

5. The Eiffel Tower.
● The Eiffel Tower is an iron lattice tower located on
the “Champ de Mars” in Paris, named after the
engineer Gustave Eiffel, whose company designed
and built the tower. Erected in 1889 as the entrance
arch due to the 1889 World's Fair; it has become
both a global cultural icon of France and one of the
most recognizable structures in the world. The tower
is the tallest structure in Paris and the most-visited
paid monument in the world

7. “Sagrada Familia”
● The Basílica i Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada
Família , commonly known as the Sagrada Família ,
is a large Roman Catholic church in Barcelona,
Catalonia, Spain, designed by Catalan architect
Antoni Gaudí (1852–1926). Although incomplete,
the church is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and
in November 2010 was consecrated and proclaimed
a minor basilica by Pope Benedict XVI. It is
incorrect to refer to it as a cathedral.

9. Tower of Pisa
● The Leaning Tower of Pisa or simply the Tower of
Pisa is the campanile, or freestanding bell tower, of
the cathedral of the Italian city of Pisa, known
worldwide for its unintended tilt to one side. It is
situated behind the Cathedral and is the third oldest
structure in Pisa's Cathedral Square (Piazza del
Duomo) after the Cathedral and the Baptistry.

11. The Parthenon.
● The Parthenon is a temple on the Athenian
Acropolis, Greece, dedicated to the maiden goddess
Athena, whom the people of Athens considered their
patron deity. . It is the most important surviving
building of Classical Greece. Its decorative
sculptures are considered some of the high points of
Greek art. The Parthenon is regarded as an enduring
symbol of Ancient Greece, Athenian democracy,
western civilization and one of the world's greatest
cultural monuments.

13. Commerce Square●
● Commerce Square is located in the city of Lisbon,
Portugal. Situated near the Tagus river, the square is
still commonly known as Palace Square because it
was the location of the Royal Ribeira Palace until it
was destroyed by the great 1755 Lisbon Earthquake.
After the earthquake, the square was completely
remodelled as part of the rebuilding of the
Pombaline Downtown, ordered by Sebastião José de
Carvalho e Melo, 1st Marquess of Pombal, who was
the Minister of the Kingdom of Portugal from 1750
to 1777, during the reign of Dom José I, King of
Portugal.

15. Berlin Wall
● The Berlin Wall was a barrier constructed by the
German Democratic Republic starting on 13 August
1961, that completely cut off West Berlin from
surrounding East Germany and from East Berlin.
The barrier included guard towers placed along
large concrete walls, which circumscribed a wide
area that contained anti-vehicle trenches, "fakir
beds" and other defenses. The Eastern Bloc claimed
that the wall was erected to protect its population
from fascist elements conspiring to prevent the "will
of the people" in building a socialist state in East
Germany.

17. Hofburg Palace
● Hofburg Palace is a palace located in Vienna,
Austria, that has housed some of the most powerful
people in European and Austrian history, including
the Habsburg dynasty, rulers of the Austria-Hungary
empire. It currently serves as the official residence
of the President of Austria. It was the Habsburgs'
principal winter residence, as the Schönbrunn Palace
was their preferred summer residence.

19. “Turning Torso” skyscraper
● HSB Turning Torso is the tallest skyscraper in
Sweden and the Nordic countries, situated in
Malmö, Sweden on the Swedish side of the Öresund
(The Sound) strait. When completed, it was the
tallest building in Scandinavia. It is presently the
third tallest residential building in Europe. Prior to
the construction of Turning Torso, the 86 metre‑
Kronprinsen had been the city's tallest building.

21. Romanian Athenaeum
● The Romanian Athenaeum is a concert hall in the
center of Bucharest, Romania and a landmark of the
Romanian capital city. Opened in 1888, the ornate,
domed, circular building is the city's main concert
hall and home of the "George Enescu" Philharmonic
and of the George Enescu annual international music
festival.
