patients
 Reduced Income: Fewer patients will be seen, to enable staff to manually monitor the Lab area
 Patient safety: Emergency patients may be delayed having their procedure as the Cath Lab is in use treating elective or ward patients
 Patient dissatisfaction: Ward patients may be delayed having their procedure as the Cath Lab is in use treating elective patients
 Patient dissatisfaction: Poor communication to patients on when their procedure will take place will increase patient dissatisfaction
and lead to an increase in complaints
 Reduced Income: Patient through put will be reduced and therefore income will not be maximised.
