Brazil is the fifth largest country in the
world, both in geographical area and in
population. fascinates for its
miscegnation. The European, Asian and
African roots, among others, are reflected
not only in the culture but also in their
traditions, gastronomy, music, dance, art,
architecture and celebrations. Due to this
great diversity, Brazil has earned the
nickname of "Land of contrasts". Almost
ninety-nine percent of the Brazilian
population speaks Portuguese, this
language appears in Brazil at the
beginning of the year 1500.
3. TYPICAL DISHES OF BRAZIL
One of the most typical ingredients of traditional Brazilian dishes
is beef. Fried dishes are also very frequent, as is the case of
Acarayé or Coxinha, two of the most popular appetizers of
Brazilian origin. The use of fish and fruits like cassava is also very
frequent, as you can see in the following list of the main dishes

Soccer is the most popular sport in Brazil. The

the automobile and Martial arts such as capoeira
recognized as the national martial art, also.
Although there are no sports as practiced and as
followed as the sports mentioned above, tennis,
handball, swimming and gymnastics, many
Brazilian fans have been found over the last
decades. Some variations of these sports had their
origin in Brazil, like beach soccer or futsal.
