Mission Statement
FACTR is a multicultural
service, research, and
training center that strives to
guide immigrants and
refugees to a life in the U.S.
filled with hopes and dreams.
Our team consists of
professional counselors,
social works, mediators, and
paralegals that are the
voices of the immigrant
families of the Bay Area.
We aim to provide a
welcoming situation for newly
arrived families around the
world to have so that they
won’t feel left out in their new
country and help them
understand more about
American values while still
keeping their cultures close.
FACTR’s Purpose
Develop an environment
where the dissemination of
practices, methods, and
concepts occurs for the
broad mental health and
social services field.
Create a setting where the
professionals work closely
with immigrant and refugee
families from all backgrounds
and help them gain the skills
and knowledge that are
necessary to have for a good
life in the United States.
Offering counseling and
educational and cultural
programs for the families so
that they can feel very
comfortable in their new
surroundings.
