communication medium
 Due to high speed, low cost and
efficiency, email is most imp channel
of communication
 Email messages help to reinforce
professional and business relations
 Email can be used both as a means to
reach out to people outside an
organization and to send information
within an organization

 Speed is main advantage of email
 Reaches destination instant
 Can be send quickly to anyone anywhere in
world
 Distance is immaterial
2. Low cost
 Low cost is yet another advantage of using
email
 Doesn’t involve printing and copying
 Less expensive than other channel-
postal,telephone
 Size of message or the distance to the
recipient does not affect the cost
3. Quick Distribution
 Email makes distribution quick and easy
 Message can be send to more than one
person at a time
 No wasting of time
4. Flexibility
 Email allows complete flexibility during
composing and drafting.
 While using email the sender may
edit,revise,modify and redesign messages
