I strongly recommend Kristina Prodanova as a candidate for employment. Kristina was employed by
Ernst & Young Bulgaria EOOD (hereinafter “EY”) in our ABBS department (Ernst & Young Assurance and
Advisory Business Services department). She was occupying the position of advisory senior consultant
in the period from 4 March 2008 to 21 May 2010.
During her employment with EY she was reporting directly to the managing partner and the senior
partners of EY and other EMEIA’s Ernst & Young partner practices involved in the development of a
strong advisory practice in Bulgaria. Kristina’s duties and responsibilities covered different areas
amongst which:
• Responsible for EY Public Procurement Country Specific support; acting as senior procurement
specialist responsible both to perform and to supervise the performance of the procurement
fiduciary and bidding on behalf of EY, in order to consistently deliver prompt, accurate advice,
review and clearances of procurement documents and proposals under EY pursuits. Kristina’s
responsibilities under this function included supervising, mentoring, and coaching of EY country
office procurement assistants.
• EY EU responsible country coordinator and pursuit leader;
• Responsible for providing development lead and support of Advisory Service line of Ernst and
Young (EY) in Bulgaria for the purposes of building clients in the government sector in fields
wherein Ernst and Young has global expertise and credentials (audit of EU funded projects; advise
to responsible government bodies for management, audit and certification of EU funds (i.e.
Managing Authorities, Audit Authority, Certifying Authority designated under EC Regulation
1083/2006);
• Responsibilities for on-time identification of opportunities of interest to EY, leading and winning
procurement pursuits for the Advisory Service Line in Bulgaria. In performing the Business
development function she was directly subordinated to me and other EY CSE (part of EMEIA)
Advisory operations partner leaders.
• EU Public sector advisor at EY Bulgaria – responsible for providing professional expertise on the
European Union regulatory framework and the corresponding Bulgarian national regulations and
governmental institutions (in the field of agriculture and fisheries; expertise in the field of
management and control of EU Structural and Cohesion Funds for the programming period 2007-
2013);

Kristina is skilled in business development and has demonstrated the following abilities in working for
EY Bulgaria: ability to handle pressure, manage time, organize and plan, communicate, work as a team
member.
During the time that Kristina reported to me I was impressed by her overall job performance and in
