My attached resume highlights the training and experience I have acquired that would make me a sound candidate
for a position within your organization.
I have worked in a Materials Management discipline for several years and have gained extensive experience in all
key areas of material control which has exposed me to the various roles of procurement. I have widespread
experience both in the corporate office, project site and module yards.
Currently I am in pursuit of enhancing my educational background; I have just completed the program offered by
The Expediting Management Association (EMA) and have submitted my application for certification of Certified
Expeditor (CE). I am also currently in the process of completing certificate programs in both Supply Chain
Management (2 of 9 complete) and Project Management in Construction (4 of 6 complete).
I believe my experience and skills provide an excellent match for the position’s you have advertised.
 Working in the home office offered me the opportunity to work directly with engineering,
procurement and all functional areas of the project team. I have comprehensive skill level in
execution of all procurement functions required to execute projects successfully. Additionally I have
directly undertaken tasks of building manual BOM’s and have extensive experience in material
requisitioning processes. Currently I manage all material required at our module yard and site
locations; ensuring all material needs are met. This also incorporates meeting both locations bulk
requirement of materials from our SOC’s in a JIT solution.
 Due to gaps in material management process in Blackfalds module yard, I was assigned to perform a
Gap Analysis of their procedures and implement process and training for material management staff
in order to remove inefficiencies and streamline the materia l management tasks. The outcome of this
effort was establishment of proficient material management personnel that are now able to manage
the project in an effective manner. Subsequent to my initial time in Blackfalds continued to provide
resource support in uploading BOM details for their receiving and issuing needs remotely. Most
recently I have been providing them with support in building a manual MTO for a scope of 15 pads.
In order to complete this task I needed to take simila r data samples from other projects that this
client awarded to the module yard and apply ECN and RFI design changes, as well as a complete
and rigorous comparison to materials manually recorded and already purchased.
 Over the course of my past two positions, I have obtained extensive hands on knowledge in SPM
and am considered a strong super user of this system by my peers. I have obtained a strong
foundation of knowledge in how the three components of EPC companies execute work effectively
and efficiently.
My work experience, as detailed in my resume will reflect my ability to deal with comprehensive and complex tasks
and provide positive results. As I have worked in various areas of the EPC environment I have gained the ability to
comprehend and adapt to the various needs of any particular segment of EPC and quickly identify their needs and
solutions.
