WELCOME
So you want to be a planner. Or you think you want to be a planner. Or you’re not completely sure
that you want to be a planner but you figured this would be a great opportunity to find out. You’ve
come to the right place.
Baldwin& is offering a 10-week spring internship for undergraduate and graduate students to
learn the basics of account planning. The program will run from the weeks of February 2nd
through April 8th, though specific dates are tentative to change in order to better accommodate
students’ schedules. Throughout this internship, students will develop a basic skill set in account
planning, but they’ll also get exposed to and work alongside other disciplines within the agency.
We ask that all applicants please complete the following internship application and to include a
professional resume and a work portfolio, if available. Hopefully this will provide us a glimpse into
your personality and how you think. Make it what you want. It should be fun. It should be
challenging. It shouldn’t take you an entire month to complete. After all, quantity doesn’t
necessarily mean quality. But, you know, put some thought into it. Or don’t. It’s up to you.

HOW LONG IS THIS INTERNSHIP?
The Baldwin& Plannership i s a 10-week program t h a t runs from t h e weeks o f February 2nd through A p r i l 8th . Specific days
and hours will be determined based on the students weekly availability.
WHAT WILL I BE WORKING ON?
Hard t o say exactly. You w i l l be working alongside Baldwin& account planners on real-world assignments w i t h real-world
implications f o r real-world c l i e n t s . Yo u ’ l l be conducting research. Yo u ’ l l be w r i t i n g c r e a t i v e b r i e f s . Yo u ’ l l be attending a few
boring meetings. Yo u ’ l l be doing everything t h a t an actual account planner would do i n an agency. Which never includes
fetching coffee for bosses.
WILL I RECEIVE COLLEGE CREDIT FOR THIS INTERNSHIP?
Absolutely. Internships a t Baldwin& are t y p i c a l l y f o r college c r e d i t . Please make t h e necessary arrangements w i t h your
school t o make sure t h a t you g e t t h e c r e d i t you deserve. L e t us know i f there are any requirements on our end, o r i f you
have any questions or concerns.
WILL HOUSING AND/OR TRANSPORTATION BE PROVIDED?
Students coming from out-of-town w i l l need t o procure housing, which i s a fancy way o f saying i t ’s up t o you t o make t h e
necessary arrangements when i t comes t o housing and t r a n s p o r t a t i o n . Of course, we can help you f i n d something o r
answer any questions you may have about t h e area. Along w i t h housing, you’re going t o need transportation n o t only t o
commute t o t h e agency, b u t there may be a time o r two where you need t o d r i v e somewhere. Don’t worry, we w i l l reimburse
you for mileage for any required driving. We w i l l a l s o p r o v i d e y o u a p a r k i n g s p a c e , i t ’s the least we can do.
WILL I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING?
Curiosity. Humility. A st rong work ethic. But ser iously, br ing your Mac. Yes, Mac. We’ re a Mac of f ice. You wi l l work on your
own computer b u t we w i l l make sure you can access our systems and w e ’ l l even s e t you up w i t h a Baldwin& email address
while you are here. This may be trickier if you don’t have a Mac. But we can probably make something work.
