Talent Management

  2. 2. Talented for what? A leader position? A specialist position? A more complex job? A project manager position? An executive assistant position? Or what … ? Many possibilities and a lot of potential in the organization!
  3. 3. Basic strategic decisions What is our strategic position today and what is our target position? What do we, as a company need in 3-5 years? Business strength Organizational Organizational weaknesses possibilities Business challanges
  4. 4. What is this ”talent”? From an individual perspective: The ”talent” is present and it is known … otherwise we couldn´t discover the talent!  But … talented for what, and for how long? From a business or job perspective: The ”talent” is a future set of requirements in a defined job situation/ context!  Who fits in … or who will fit in?  Do we have that, in the future, defined job situation and are we able to describe the requirements today?
  5. 5. Targeting the future game The real case is to spot, create and to decide realistic and business contributing opportunities within a given range of time – 2-3 years. What do we need – what do we have – how can we get there? How to deal with moving targets?! An organizational investment!

  8. 8. What to do? Transforming business needs into people skills and competences. Transforming people competences into business results. Growing business through people and growing people through business (work, challanges, trouble-shooting, projects etc.)
