working capital, enhancement and expansion.
Stage II: PRIVATE EQUITY (South Africa)
Purpose – Accruing of controlling stake of 51% in coal Mining Company owning a coal mines in
South Africa to the extent of 60000 hectare.
Status: Investor meeting completed, conditional investment agreement.

PROFILE:
The Vijay Group began as a small distribution company in 1994 and has evolved to become the
most well know name in the dealership of construction & mining equipment in the state of Andhra
Pradesh, India. As well as excavation and mine rising contracts in mines within and outside
Andhra Pradesh, in 1999 Vijaya Traders was offered the dealership for Volvo Construction
Equipment which succeeded in establishing a formidable presence in the construction industry
with meticulous planning and strong relationship.
The boom in coal & iron ore mining encouraged The Group to enter the mining arena and in 2002,
Vijay Mining & Infra Crop (P) Ltd. (VMICPL) (Formerly Vijay Leasing Company) took up a raising
