2016
I got involved with the Saudi Students Association in January 2016 as a media representative.
The first action I have made at that year, changing the logo for the association and have it more
relevant to all the student.
Here is a picture for how it was look:
And this is the new logo in 2016:
I have made this logo with an actual meaning:
1- The two books represent the education
a. The green color of the first book represent the color of Saudi Arabian flags
b. The red book represents UNL
2- The world map with a red color, represent that UNL has students from all over the world
3- The blue represents the sky, and the yellow represent the sun.
2. The second move I have done to the association was the social media. I made a social media
accounts such as (Instagram, Snapchat, periscope, official e-mail, and Twitter), all of the social
media accounts has same user name “Saudisatunl”.
In an official event at UNL, I sat up a strategy that raised the brand awareness and have a lot of
followers in our account. By asking audience question about Saudi Arabia and challenge them
to answer it. Then give a random audience the account to talk about their knowledge about
international countries. Also, we had a booth and we challenge the audience to take the best
picture and share it with us in Twitter and Snapchat and announcing the winner.
2017
In 2017, I was the vice president of the association. I chose to be an activity coordinator and
designer for the association. The reason why I chose to be in those positions is that I am an
ADPR major and I tried to use all the knowledge I learned from my classes and apply it to the
association. We had serious problems at the association because of some wrong decision were
made by couple people who worked at the association. Finally, it was fixed by changing the way
of Networking and collaborate with other association at UNL and other professor whom expert
at UNL clubs.
2018
I am the current president started on the 20th of February. The goal of this year will be:
1- Raised the brand awareness.
2- Official id card for each member of the association.
3- Specify and develop brand personality.
4- Collaborate more with other association to create a bigger event at UNL.
5- Looking for sponsors.
6- Develop social media and networking.
7- Create more outdoor event and activity.
8- Assign an expert who can develop the talents that most students have and create an
event for the student to let that person feel more appreciated.
