8. Being introduced to The Beatles at a very young age, the Fab Four were enough to inspire the musical creativity within
a budding musician, Kevin Walton. Kevin would sit for hours listening to the big bands and hits of the day. As Kevin
grew with forever changing music styles, his desire to play music could not be ignored. His stage was set and he knew
his purpose was to make music.
As a lead guitarist, singer and songwriter Kevin embarked on what would be an eventful and continuing musical
journey. Soon the crowds were building and the underground following would see punters lining up at the door to get a
glimpse of rock & roll at its’ best, and ballads that left crowds talking and wanting more. Kevin had found his niche,
writing breathtaking lyrics that connected with the audience, backed up by quality sound and moving melodies. This
revelation resulted in four finely tuned albums with a touch of brilliance.
The first album, "Indian" (1994) proved to be an underground hit and was quickly followed up by a 2nd album "Badluck
Avenue" which received airplay on "The David Letterman Show" in the US, Australia and Europe. Kevin was then
contacted by "The Massive Recording Company" in Sydney, Australia. In 1999 they released the single, "Summertime”
using the band name Bowe. It became a hit, getting plenty of airplay in Australia and Europe. Another single, "All Night
Long", was used as the title track for Australia's bull riding DVD, "Ride The Rage", and chosen to feature on an AFL
(Australian Football League) DVD as well. The third album, "Innuendo" (2003) and the fourth, "Bleeding Hearts" (2005)
– soon followed, both generating interest within the music industry.
Kevin felt it was time for a new direction and created a beautifully arranged album of soft, laidback, stylish music laced
with emotional lyrics that resonate long after the album is over. The album “Momentum” was born and the singles kept
coming - Little Arrow, Stray and Breathe. Breathe paints the perfect picture of unconditional love and support. Heartfelt
lyrics penned by a gifted word-smith shine through on Breathe which takes the listener on an emotional and healing
journey.
Kevin is currently in the recording studio working on his 6th Album. Moving in yet another direction, this album
illustrates the amazing diversity and creativity of Kevin Walton. With several tracks already completed, the buzz in the
industry is that this album will take Kevin to new heights in his music career. Some of the finest musicians in Australia
are collaborating with him on this forthcoming album. Exciting times lay ahead as we await its’ release.

10. Kevin Walton’s 5th album demonstrates that good modern rock truly does still exist. Walton has it all; catchy
hooks, inspiring lyrics and a voice so soothing, it could end a war. The Australian songwriter’s latest album
grabs you from the start and takes you on a smooth journey of self-exploration. The album presents us with a
more mature side of Walton, a side that has a serious take on the modern sound. This is nothing short of an
emotionally compelling album that is perfect for any fan of U2 or Coldplay.
Track 1 “Like the Sun” – Walton’s opening track sets the stage for the whole album. “Like the Sun” is a smooth
track, complete with catchy guitar hooks and soulfully inspiring lyrics. What makes this track even more
extraordinary is the overall epic feeling that it provides listeners.
Track 2 “Dancing in Blue”- Like a painter, Walton is able to spill his emotions onto a canvas in this emotional
ballad. What is particularly special about “Dancing in Blue” is the songs relatable feel. Musically the track has
it all, slow drums, technical guitar work and pain charged vocals. This track’s lyrics even have a Dylan type feel
with the musical accompaniment similar to that of U2.
Track 5 “Romance” – This track not only displays Walton’s immense musical capabilities but also his versatility.
“Romance” has a smooth jazz undertone, complete with Walton’s epic sound. The guitar work in this track is
nothing short of amazing and is complimented by intricate piano. “Romance” is a perfect addition to Walton’s
emotionally gripping album.
