Dubai parks and resorts owned by DXB entertainments
PJSC, is the middle east’s largest multi-themed leisure
and entertainment destination comprising four separate
theme parks: MOTIONGATE™ dubai, the region’s largest
hollywood-inspired theme park, featuring immersive rides
and attractions based on hollywood hits; LEGOLAND®
dubai, a unique, interactive theme park for families which
brings the well-known LEGO® brick to life in a playful
learning environment; and BOLLYWOOD PARKS™ dubai,
a first-of-its-kind theme park that showcases rides and
attractions based on some of bollywood’s biggest
blockbusters. It also hosts the LEGOLAND® water park,
the region’s first water park catering to families with
children aged 2-12. Expected to open in late 2019, six
flags dubai will be destinations fifth theme park and the
regions first six flags themed park.

The entire destination is connected by riverland™ dubai,
the free to enter themed recreational hub with a multitude
of dining, shopping and unique entertainment options,
that connects the theme parks, perfect for friends and
families of all ages.
Guests can stay at the lapita™ hotel, a polynesian themed
family hotel part of the marriott autograph collection.
Located on sheikh zayed road opposite the palm jebel ali
in dubai equidistant to dubai and abu dhabi international
airports, the destination offers over 100 rides and
attractions

create and manage a portfolio of experiences and assets
that deliver long-term shareholder value.
6. RITUALS AND ROUTINES
Safety Inspections- like all theme park operators, dubai
parks and resorts is under an obligation to ensure that its
rides run smoothly and safely. An army of engineers
inspects its roller coasters and other rides, walking along
tracks to check for defects, inspecting vehicles and
performing other essential tasks. Firefighters also work at
the parks, and carry out inspections of fire extinguishers,
alarm systems and sprinkler systems.
Repairs- it's not just the rides that occasionally need
repairing. At dubai parks and resorts, there are cast
members whose sole responsibility is checking and
replacing equipments
Refuelling- many of dubai parks and resorts's attractions
still run on good old-fashioned gasoline. Every night, a
team of oiler-truckers sweeps into refuel them.

Reputation- reputable for its unique and interactive

multitude of dining, shopping and unique entertainment

the challenges faced and overcame to finally establish. The
values and practices of the organization as well as pass
achievements and awards.

Customers & Services- DPR is known having low
customer complaints, and for delivering excellent and
satisfactory services.
Founder- staff members talk about the founder starting
the company in a rough and remote area.
Cost of Operations- the message is that we do things the
cheapest way we can.
9. SYMBOLS
Logo-
Shuttling- Staff members and tour guides use
white/red coloured buggies to enable movements in
the parks.
Grooming- DPR provide uniform wears to its
employess at operational levels to portray the values
and colours of the company.b While officials and
executives appear in suits, hijab, and guandoras.
10. ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE
The structure is hierarchical
The formal lines of authority are clearly defined at the top
There are still some informal lines of authorities existing at the botom and in some departments
11. CONTROL SYSTEMS
Periodic Performance Evaluation- performance
evaluations are carried out at different levels of the
organization periodically in order to decide for reward,
penalty, lay offs, or promotion.
Cost Control- Each functional area of the organization is
tightly controlled for cost of operations and compliance.
Costs are highly controlled, and customers are billed for
parts down to the last screw.
Quality is not emphasized. Getting the work done with the
least amount of direct costs is the goal.
Auditing and Internal Control- DPR has an internal
control team who evaluate the financial operations of the
business. The company is eternally audited by Deloitte
and Touche.
