5. Linkedin is losing professionals-fast!
What's unfortunate, is that Linkedin has become much more than Facebook, than the reverse. It's
become a place to solve math problems, puzzles, praise the lord, discuss erectile dysfunction,
advertise escort services, post pictures from places around the world, sell jewellery, beauty
treatments, and the list goes on and on. It's quite sad that it's morphed into nothing more than a
social playground for adults who haven't grown up.
And its losing stock vaue as a result of it’s social presence!
(Reuters) - LinkedIn Corp said on Wednesday Chief Executive Jeff Weiner will decline his 2016
annual stock compensation in order to pass it on to his employees at the professional social
network.
The move follows LinkedIn's disappointing first-quarter revenue and profit forecast that missed
Wall Street estimates last month as growth slows in the company's ads business and its hiring
services face pressure outside North America.
Up to Wednesday's close of $119.6, LinkedIn's stock had dropped nearly 38 percent since its
results on Feb. 4.

9. The Social & Chat App model is failing.
The global business of messaging, including the traditional SMS business of carriers and free texting from
over-the-top players like WhatsApp, is set to shrink over the next few years, from $113.5 billion in 2014 to
$112.9 billion in 2019, according to Juniper Research, a market-research firm based in Basingstoke, England.
Chat traffic will meanwhile triple on messaging apps to 100 trillion messages in 2019. ”Revenues won’t grow
at the same pace,” writes Juniper analyst Lauren Foye in a recent report on the future of messaging app.
In a nutshell, lots of chat traffic doesn’t directly translate to lots of revenue, and that will continue to be the
case for the next few years.
The irony is that modern-day chat apps which disrupted the SMS businesses of carriers by running on top of
their infrastructure — and eclipsed the global number of SMS’s being sent around the world in
2012 with their own free-message traffic – are being similarly exploited by their own users.
So is s a a s a y a business tool or a professional chat app?
10. s a a s a y is unique it is a premium service for the business professional ….let me explain.
There are 2 types of linkedin user, free and premium- and there is a reason why.
Free users are on looking for their next job and premium users are looking to seriously expand their network
AND look for their next job or better still acquisition. You can glean a lot of useful due diligience using these
existing platforms and position your next career and business move.
In addition we will also give our premium users revenue based on their followers-this works because the
majority of job seekers, next Branson’s & career minded professionals, want to progress-it’s embedded in
their culture and mind set.
They will not only follow high profile successful entrpreneurs, they will follow MD’s,CEO’s,Sales Directors,
managers etc in their attempt to glean and gain their next advantage.
People follow people they want to be like, it is simple, and we reward not only them with great information
and insights but the leaders they follow with revenue and exposure.
