 3 Supportive environment. 
Good teachers- engage sts in specific actions- sts will learn easily, 
entuastically –meaningfully 
How : believe –innate skills 
themselves they can do it. 
Create: bonds of trust 
supportive environment
Engaged students- self confidence 
 Tangible objectives 
 Encourage progress 
 Feel that goals are attainable 
 Be motivated to accept their role as a SLU 
 Encourage to learn developL2 skills easily.
Good teachers + self confidence sts = Supportive environment 
* Freedom to use the target language = communicate 
* Avoid Sts feel fear, shame, frustration 
* Teachers + students + classroom = success 
*Classrooms- enjoyable places- happy students= great results
 What exactly do we mean by motivating someone? 
 What is the relationship between “motivating” teaching and 
“good teaching”
