have attached my current resume for your consideration which includes a short
summary of my skills and experience in support of my application.
A graduate of the Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety and Certificate IV in
Training & Assessing I have solid Risk Management training and I am certified to
conduct Health & Safety Investigations. I have over 10 year's Mining industry expertise
as a Senior Health & Safety Advisor and as a Health & Training Superintendant, have a
sound knowledge Mining Industry/LNG standards, and I was most recently employed
with Leighton Contractors (Mining) as a Senior Safety Advisor on a FIFO basis.
Committed to OH&S and providing the highest levels and standards of safety, I am
seeking to enter a role such as the one advertised, and I am certain I will be able to
make an immediate positive contribution in that role should I be successful.
An experienced OH&S Operative with extensive ‘hands-on’ experience, I am able to
identify and analyse problems and determine/recommend appropriate courses of
action, delivering resolutions on time, and in all cases within the required commercial
budget constraints and allocations.
I have a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing, and
I have significant and demonstrated experience in providing excellent outcomes, and
quantifiable results.
