EXPERIENCE
Survey Inspector: Survey Inspector for On/Offshore QCS contracted to Centurian
Pipeline in Midland, TX. I served as Inspector over 5 different survey companies on a
variety of jobs in west TX as well as several in OK. I assured that all survey standards
were being met as well as directing the daily activities of the crews. I also presented the
Centurian Safety Class to new employees.
Chief Inspector: Chief Inspector for Gulf Interstate Field Services on a prelim survey for
loop line in CT, NY, & MA. I was responsible for assuring that the surveyors followed
the Project Survey Standards. I was also involved in choosing construction access roads,
crossovers, bore, & HDD locations as well as picking areas for extra work space.
Survey Coordinator: Survey & Mapping Inc. (SAM) in Lafayette, LA. I supervised the
survey crews on a 105 mile prelim. survey for an 18-24 inch ethane line for Enterprise. I
met with Land Agents to make sure we have survey permission & worked closely with
the Assistant and Chief Inspectors to assure we were giving the client everything they
needed. I also prepared reports for tracking all aspects of the project.
Survey Project Coordinator: For Petroleum Field Services. I had responsibility for all
mid-stream projects in northwest ND. I coordinated the work of the survey crews from
prelim through the as-built phase. I assigned work daily, processed their reports, and
communicated all activities with the appropriate support members in our Denver and
Cheyenne offices as well as our clients.

a 14” replacement project in Zapata & Webb Counties in Texas for Kinder Morgan. I was
responsible for assuring that the surveyors are following the Project Survey Standards. I

was also involved in choosing construction access roads, water sources for the hydro-
testing, as well as coordinating efforts with environmental and safety issues.
Survey Supervisor for Encompass Energy Services in Goldsboro, NC. I supervised
three survey crews on a preliminary survey for a 35 mile gas pipeline. I also plotted
deeds in AutoCadd and performed checks on plats before being submitted to the PLS for
sealing.
Survey Supervisor for GFS in Sidney, MT. I supervised 11 survey crews and office
personnel on a 60 mile 10” NGL pipeline construction. This project consisted of 2
spreads with a different contractor in ND and MT. I coordinated survey activities with
the contractor, inspection staff, Right-of-Way, environmental/archeological and the
pipeline owner. My duties included tracking all pipe, valves, fittings, collected copies of
the Weld Maps (Reader Sheets), for verification with survey as-built data and met with
inspectors and environmental in field to discuss any issues that arose. In an effort to keep
the project flowing smoothly I coordinated efforts with each Spread Chief and the
construction manager every morning. I also tracked progress of all phases of
construction and composed a bar graph showing percentage of completion which I sent to
all concerned parties on a weekly basis and I compiled man-hours vs. mileage reports for
safety purposes.
Lead Survey Inspector with Onshore/Offshore on the 300 Line project for El Paso in
PA and NJ. My duties included overseeing another Lead Survey Inspector and four other
survey inspectors and 26 survey crews on a 150 miles natural gas pipeline which was
divided into seven loops in two states. On this project I moved into more of a
management position while assisting the Northeast Manager for El Paso. While
supervising those listed above to make sure that all pipe, valves and fittings were tracked
and making sure that good as-built records were being maintained, and I was responsible
for cost tracking and reconciliation before invoices were paid.
Survey Inspector with QIS & Onshore/Offshore on the Ruby Pipeline for El Paso in NV
& OR. My duties included coordinating the construction and as-built surveys for this
project to insure the proper placement of the pipeline, assure that all environmental
guidelines were followed, and to assure that no permits pertaining to these issues were
violated. In order to achieve this I worked closely with the contractor, the spread chief
inspector, safety, and environmental inspector (I met with all of them every morning). I
also made sure that all pipe, fittings, and valves were tracked and all necessary
information was being collected and processed to insure accurate as-built information.
Survey Supervisor for LW Survey Co. My duties have included supervising survey
crews in gathering preliminary information for pipeline routing on the Greenway
Expansion Project in Marion, VA. This included determining most logical areas for
additional workspace that might be needed for temporary pipe storage, bore pipe,

parking, etc. On the Trinity River Pipeline Project in Fort Worth, TX I wrote legal
descriptions for approximately 250 parcels of land as well as supervising survey crews in
gathering data for re-routes and as-builts.
