Dear Sir or Madam:
I would like to highly recommend Kelsey Estes for entrance to a premier university äs a pre-med Student. I
know my students very well because my courses are lab based and my classes are small. Kelsey was in my College
Physics class last year and is now in my College Chemistry class. In physics, the students learn how to solve
Problems, but more importantly they work in teams to design labs and publish reports using a variety of calculator
and Computer skills. Each semester, the students design a significant project, gather data, and publish a report
suitable for engineering College courses. Chemistry is a traditional General Chemistry course for science majors.
Kelsey excelled in my class and shows skills that drive me to highly recommend her.
Kelsey is an active self-motivated learner, intelligent, and has shown maturity äs a Student.Physics and
Chemistry are designed to encourage students to learn through inquiry methods which can be very frastrating, yet a
self-motivated Student like Kelsey develops learning strategies that make her successful. Her grades and writings
demonstrate that she has the intellect and maturity to follow through on her Collegegoals. My favorite things about
Kelsey are her incredible work ethic, personal struggle to achieve perfection, and her positive outlook. She
recognizes that perfect is unattainable, but still worth striving for.Kelsey has taken some divergent paths to make
sure that she is successful in spite the fact that her family cannot support her educational efforts. Kelsey would fit
exceptionally well into a pre-med program. She is careful with her lab procedures and often achieves low error
results which demonstrate uncommon attention to processing a wide variety of lab procedures and also skill. Her lab
write-ups are not only thorough, but her theory and discussion sections show a mature ability to think scientifically.
I am excited to see this young intelligent womanpursue a science career and I vouch for her dedicationand skill
unconditionally.
Sincerely,
Patricia Loeblein
