1. We teach emotional literacy.
We provide women with specific tools to discern their own
strengths and authentic selves, commit to their ongoing
development, manage life challenges with greater awareness
of their choices, and create an inspired vision of their future.
We cultivate curiosity about our inner and outer lives,
continually growing as individuals in community.
Since our first program in 2009, we have made a profound impact on the lives of over
300 women. Over 60% of the women served were young women between the ages
of 18-24 years old. Lasting impacts of our programming include participants new
found abilities to: Deal with difficult emotions, Identify wants and needs, Take better
care of themselves (physically, socially and emotionally), Improve important relation -
ships, and Speak up for themselves.
