Date of Presentation
Emphasis: Directing
2. The film titled The Last Swing will tackle social, cultural,
emotional, and psychoanalytical issues. These aspects will be
brought to light by the dark and twisted story.
Issues like abuse relating to women or young girls. The impact
that has on psychological development.
A unique perspective where both characters have no clear
allegiances to being a “protagonist or antagonist” yet there is
still much conflict.
Loosely based from the well known story of “Jack and Jill”
nursery rhyme.
Initial Thesis Statement
3. Short Director’s Vision

10. The Last Swing will have female adversaries with compelling personalities.
Challenge and break down gender barriers.
Will feed the growing twisted interests of this generation in sex/violence much like
A Clockwork Orange directed by Stanley Kubrick.
Will use artistic expression through line, color, shape, and space.
A dark comedy that poses serious questions about our own society.
