A group of teenagers discover construction work being done in a local forest for mysterious reasons related to past murders. While exploring, one boy finds a strange box containing tarot cards that seem to predict how each friend will die. As the deaths start occurring, the last surviving girl investigates the forest's dark history to try and stop her own fate.

2. Sypnopsis
-- A group of friends are curious to know why some construction work is being done in their local forest.
-- Via the use of social networking sites and word of mouth rumours spread around the area that the government had
attempted to dig up important evidence of murders committed by an extreme cult decades ago.
-- Anxious to find out what this is all about a group of teenagers wander off to the forest. A shadowed figure is seen
by the audience but not the actors as the film will have an omniscient narrative to create more suspense.
-- The group arrive at the location and the whole scene is very humorous with characters laughing, drinking and
smoking until Jennifer suggests to the group that she feels like someone is watching her.
-- As the group are unhappily persuaded to leave the forest, Eric notices a glow in the distance coming from an
unusual box. Little do the other characters know that he runs over to take this box and only reveals to his friends later
on when they arrive home what he has found.
--Being disappointed that the box only contains a pack of cards, he foolishly deals 4 of the cards out to his friends.
--All of the characters do not take it seriously apart from the main character Jennifer who is superstitious.
--what they don't know is whatever is on the card is what will be their future death.
--The shadow is a repeated element when the teenagers are in the house and supernatural activity takes place such
as lights flickering, power cut, unusual noises.
--Jennifer is the one character who does not turn over her card given. Soon after her friends deaths she gets
suspicious and looks into the forests history and realises what is happening. she is constantly paranoid trying to fight
against her demon. This leaves her death a mystery and surprise for the audience.

3. Genre
• Our film will be a supernatural horror genre which will conform to the codes and
conventions. The protagonists will be young students who are harmlessly being
teenagers and do not take their findings serious. The antagonist will be a spirit only
being seen as a shadowed figure which is seen in the same location of the forest, where
the cards were found. Typical elements we will be using to reprsent the supernatural
genre and build suspense is; flickering lights, shadows, gusts of wind, whispering,
• Using teenagers allows the audience to be more connected as they will be teenagers
themselves who do the same things as the characters or they will have children or
siblings of the same age. This creates a relationship between them and the characters
which makes them have a protective and sympathetic attitude towards them.
• Our choice of location, the forest, is very approrpiate because of the different effective
shots that are possible along with the dark natural shadows.

- Stephen Holden of The New York Times said that "even by the crude standards of teenage horror, Final Destination is dramatically flat.
- Lou Lumenick of New York Post commented that " the film's premise quickly deteriorates into a silly, badly acted slasher movie - minus the slasher”.

6. Locations
Hainault Forest has lots of effective shots which are possible and with the current foggy weather
it will create a better effect. This is where most of our trailer will be shot however other
locations are still to be discussed but will consist of peoples homes, alley ways and generally
iscolated areas.
