Waterlogging :
Urban waterlogging refers to the phenomenon
when there is rainstorm or short time heavy rain,
which surpasses the capacity of the urban
drainage system, and then waterlogging disaster
happens.

In Bangladesh waterlogging happens
mainly and frequently during rainy
seasons. Even a moderate to heavy
downpour will submerge or inundate
various parts of the city such as lanes,
streets, houses, markets, shops etc.
Economy suffers severely during the rai
ny season.
