All rights reserved. 5 Project Highlight: GS POU Rack Problem: There was an excess amount of chemicals on the shop floor; this does not align with the principles of Lean Manufacturing. This also creates a potential hazard and takes up valuable floor space. Action: Reduce the quantity of bottles on the POU racks, freeing floor space for waste bins, 5S the area, and create a system that manages chemical usage/pickup

All rights reserved. 6 Project Highlight: ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 Updating Problem: Bosch ChP needed to transfer to the new ISO 14001:2015 standard for upcoming audit as well as update the OHSAS 18001 documentation. Action: Spent countless hours sorting through Sharepoint and current documentation in order to revise/reword ChP documents and bring the content up to date for upcoming audit Result: HSE documentation is more organized, up to date, and it is now easier to find certain information for ISO/OHSAS Audit. This also became a ‘Best Practice’ for CC Germany

All rights reserved. 7 Project Highlight: BPS Week Problem: Associate’s not meeting monthly targets for safety KZTs and an increase in strains/sprains injuries do to ergonomic issues Action: Educated all associates through BPS week training on hazard recognition, safety absolutes, and common ergonomic issues Result: An increase in associate involvement in hazard recognition out on the floor

- Volunteering at Bosch: Women at Bosch, We Are Bosch Days, Girl’s Day Out, Red Cross blood drive, Ronald McDonald House, Bosch 5K, Chilli Cookoff, Palmetto Academy Scholar’s co-op rep; Governor’s school tour/rep;, STEM Career Fair, Angel Tree, Unity Project – HR Bosch’s Italian site in Bari is one of the biggest manufacturers of high-pressure pumps for common rail diesel systems as well as the main manufacturer of gear pumps
- Training: Macro Power Hour Skype Class, BPS Co-op Training, Workshop: BAMA, VPP Best Practices (2), BPS Week Training Audit: Internal ISO Audit (spring); external (fall)
