1. Comprehensive Energy Audits for Electrical and Thermal Systems:
Energy Audit is an effective means of judging current performance levels
with respect to efficiencies and energy consumptions and identifying
potential areas of improvement in the efficiencies. Preliminary and
detailed energy audit of utility systems largely helps in controlling the
energy consumption with resultant reduction in fuel and electricity costs.
Audit involves data collection, data verification and detailed analysis of
the same.
2. Energy Efficiency Project Implementation:
This includes the consultancy services for implementation of the
measures identified through energy audit. The activities cover preparation
of detailed specifications of equipments and systems (including the bill of
materials), vendor identification, techno economic evaluation of offers,
short listing of vendors, providing technical back up during installation of
systems and monitoring the performance after successful commissioning.

4. Water System Audits:
This involves water balance of the entire plant, the water flow
measurements is done with ultrasonic water flow meter, on all key supply
lines to arrive at the balance of the supply and consumption. This also
identifies the areas of losses with measures to reduce the same.
5. Renewable Energy Solutions:
Renewable energy technologies are now established and appreciated as
the key means of producing electricity in a climate and environment
friendly way. And it has become mandatory to consider non-polluting

METHODOLOGY FOR ENERGY AUDIT:
A visit for a typical energy audit takes about one to two weeks for our team
(depending on the size of the plant and the inclusions and exclusions which
are plant specific). During the visit, all the data collection, measurements,
performance test of critical equipment & preliminary analysis are completed.
At the end of the audit, preliminary observations about the saving potential
in various areas is discussed & presented.
In general, savings potentials are identified in three categories :
(a)Short term measures involving little or no investment (such as good
operational practices, house-keeping measures in certain areas, tuning
of certain equipment for better performance etc.) with immediate
payback period.
(b)Medium term measures involving marginal investment & with
payback period less than 1.5 years
(c)Long term measures involving capital expenditure with attractive
payback returns.
Subsequent to the site work, a detailed energy audit report with
observations and analysis is prepared with various energy conservation
proposals along with the details of proposed schemes, savings potential
(with basis of detailed quantification of savings), investment (considering the
prices of equipment/ systems recommended) & payback period.
This enables management to take decisions regarding implementation
schedules.
