Culture in the Digital Age
Key Demographics
• Age Range: Should be between the ages of sixteen and twenty-four.
• Gender: There is no preference for Gender for my documentary however
from a survey I did, I know that the majority of my audience are male (60%
Male and 40% Female)
• Education: Due to the age range my audience should be in college or higher
education.
• No preference for Religion, Income, Family Life Cycle or Socio-Economic
Status.
Key Psychographics:
• Involved or intrigues by activism and how it has changed (Or possibly
unclear about the difference social media has had on activism.)
• Large user of the internet and social media.
• Enjoys keeping up with world events.
• Enjoys watching documentaries.
Challenges and Goals:
• Uneducated on the different important activism campaigns that have
took place online.
• Doesn't keep up to date with how social media has changed politics.
• Wants to learn more about recent activism compared to the previous
generation's activism and riots.
Preferred Channels:
• Watching Documentaries on YouTube, Netflix or another online
streaming service.
• Using social media to educate themselves
• Reading articles on the internet to educate themselves.
Preferred Content Types:
• Social Media Posts
• Videos
• Articles
• Tv Shows.
