This document provides first aid instructions for bleeding and non-bleeding wounds. For bleeding wounds, it recommends applying pressure, elevating the wound, cleaning with gauze, bandaging, and not removing the dressing or looking under it unless glass may be retained, in which case help should be sought. For non-bleeding wounds, it recommends washing with clean water such as bottled or tap water but not stream water, dressing and bandaging the wound, and seeking help.
