Following up a 24% increase in
December, sales were up 27% in
January when compared to a
year ago.

Our inventory is up from the
last few years. But activity is
up as well. 47% of all listings
are already under contract.

not already spoken for by a buyer at the time of reporting. Even
though gross listings are up, at the end of January available
inventory was slightly below where it was a year ago.

Even though sales activity is strong there are still many price
reductions. Seller’s need to be competitive in order to compete.

The red line shows new listings to the
market in Boulder County so far in 2020. We
are seeing a good supply of new listings to
the market so far this year. The market is off
to a solid start.

weekly basis. Both January and December were
up sharply from a year ago.

9. The real estate market in Boulder County is off to a good
start! Sales were up by 27% from a year ago and were
higher than our five-year average. I have been involved in
three multiple offer situations in the past month. These
were on homes that have been upgraded beautifully and
buyers love a home that is ready to go! We are also
seeing a steady flow of new listings to the market.
