Counting our hedgehogs

hedgehogs?

2. One day in late November many, many, many hedgehogs
arrived at school.

3. The whole school gathered together to see the hedgehogs
and decide how they could count them.

4. And so the counting began...

5. The hedgehogs were grouped together.

6. The groups got bigger and bigger.

7. The counting continued…and then even more hedgehogs
arrived!

8. Many new friends were made; over 10 000 in fact!
