A Day of Animal Appreciation for Girls in Grades 5-8.
Saturday, March 29
9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
at Magnificat High School
Join Magnificat High School
and Cleveland Metroparks Zoo
for a fun and educational day of learning about animals.
See a show presented by female Education Animal Keepers,
and then participate in breakout sessions to research and
share your knowledge about your assigned animal.
• Get up close to 10 Zoo animals, such as a Sugar Glider and a Three-banded Armadillo.*
• Practice team-building and collaboration skills.
• Teams of 10 will research an animal in attendance and
prepare an educational PowerPoint to share with other attendees.
(Magnificat student volunteers will assist you; computers provided.)
Cost: $10 per person, which includes,
lunch, a t-shirt, instruction and computer use.
