• Provider of Pre-School Music Education (ages 0-6 years)
• Delivers a structured curriculum, developed over 20 years
• Grown from one to multiple teachers across UK
– Directly employed and separate self employed licensed
teachers
• Expanded into India 2013
• Provider of music classes to:
– Independent parent & child groups in the community
– Pre-schools and nurseries

Programme Outline
• Structured curriculum for 0-6 years
– Divided into 3 separate age groups: 0-2, 3-4, & 4-6yrs
– age groups can be flexible
• Curriculum supports UK Govt Early Years Foundation Stages
• 36 lessons per year over a 3 year cycle
• Different topics delivered each term
– For example mini beasts, colours, shapes, transport, jungle
animals
• Uses a wide range of exciting percussion instruments,
puppets and colourful teaching aids

Curriculum Outline
• Introduces music concepts such as pitch, rhythm, tempo,
timbre, beat and notation.
– Excellent foundation for future instrumental learning
• Also introduces:
– English language
– Knowledge of the world

Programme Outline – classes for 0-2yrs
A class specifically tailored for 0-2’s:
– The teacher supports and strengthens the bond
between the principal carer and the child
– Introduces different sounds, music & instruments
from around the world
– Supports the UK Govt Early Years Foundation Stages
– Encourages babies to feel beat through knee-bouncing
rhymes and circle dances with their care-giver
– Supports early sound making with the “finding
the voice” section
– Babies are encouraged to explore & interact
with puppets & props
– Increases parents’ and carers’ confidence in
interacting musically with their child

Programme Outline – classes for 3-4yrs
– Encourages the child to move away from the principal carer and
participate in activities & take turns.
– Introduces further sounds, music & instruments from around the
world.
– Encourages child to actively explore & experiment with various
sound sources.
– Count up and down to 10 during counting songs, recognise
numbers & be able to say what number comes next.
– Introduces specific rhythms through rhythm cards, builds
patterns with those rhythms & taps them successfully.
– Move successfully (gross motor movement) in circle games and
marching songs. Learn to hold hands & co-operate.
– Make sounds with the “finding the voice” section. Start making
animal sounds & singing parts of songs.
– Show knowledge of vocabulary by responding to instructions &
showing understanding of words used in songs.

Programme Outline – classes for 4-6yrs
– Child participates independently, fully engaged in activities &
takes turns.
– Child actively explores sound sources, making choices when
playing & organising their playing.
– Counts up and down to 10 during counting songs, recognise
numbers & be able to manipulate numbers easily.
– Child knows specific rhythms through rhythm cards, build & tap
patterns with those rhythms, identify rhythms aurally.
– Child can move successfully in circle games, organise movements
showing awareness & cooperation with others.
– Child can experiment with their voice and can sing most or all
songs in tune.
– Start to create their own music and independent songs
