• A credit card is a payment card issued to users
(cardholders) to enable the cardholder to pay
a merchant for goods and services based on
the cardholder's promise to the card issuer to
pay them for the amounts plus the other
agreed charges.
• In India, Andhra Bank was the first to
introduce credit cards in 1981.
3. Introduction
• It is Launched by IndusInd Bank
• It is a first’s interactive Credit Card in India with
buttons - which provides customers with the
flexibility of three payment options at a Point of
Sale (POS) terminal
– Credit,
– Converting Transactions into EMIs with 4 tenure
options (6, 12, 18 & 24 months) or
– using accumulated Reward Points, by simply pushing a
button on the card.

• This Card has been created in partnership with
Dynamics Inc., and designs and manufactures
intelligent, battery powered payment cards.
• It indicates a customer's desired payment choice
using LED lights associated with the three
options.
• A customer does not need to fill any paperwork,
or call their bank, or log in to any banking channel
to convert their POS transactions into EMIs, or to
redeem their Rewards Points.

• Time saving- No longer the credit card user is
required to submit paper work etc,.
– Press release from the bank said, “A customer does
not need to fill any paperwork, or call their bank,

• IndusInd Bank has also announced several
new reward schemes for using this new card.
– 1 Reward Point for every ₹150 spent.
