Nobel Laureate
Academy
An Academy to create Nobel
Laureate for India
About Nobel Prize
Since 1901, the Nobel Prize has been honoring men and
women from all corners of the globe for outstanding
achievements in physics, chemistry, medicine, literature, and
for work in peace.
The Man Behind the Nobel Prize was Alfred Nobel who had
left much of his wealth for the establishment of this prize
This prize is being awarded o only those who have done
great deeds in the respective fields
Nobel Laureates of India
1. Mr. Rabindranath Tagore(Literature,1913)
2. Sir C.V Raman (Physics,1930)
3. Dr. Hargobind khorana (Medicine,1968)
4. Mother Teresa (Peace,1979)
5. Dr. Subramaniam Chandrasekar (Physics,1983)
6. Dr. Amartya Sen (Economics,1998)
7. Venkatraman Ramakrishnan (Chemistry,2009)
FIELDS MEDAL
• ‘Fields Medal’ is the highest international honor for
outstanding work in mathematics. It is regarded as the
‘Nobel Prize for Mathematics’ and has been awarded since
1936. Since 1950, it is awarded every four years for up to
four mathematician.
Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize
for Science and Technology
• The Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize for Science and
Technology is awarded annually by the Council of Scientific
& Industrial Research (CSIR) for notable and outstanding
research, applied or fundamental, in Biology, Chemistry,
Environmental Science,Engineering, Mathematics,
Medicine and Physics. The purpose of the prize is to
recognize outstanding Indian work (according to the view
of CSIR awarding committee) in Science and Technology. It
is the highest award for science in India. The award is
named after the founder Director of the Council of
Scientific & Industrial Research, Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar.
It was first awarded in 1958.
Time to retrospect…..
India, a country of 1.25 Billion has unfortunately till
now produced only 7 Nobel prize winners where as
Sweden a small country with population of 9.4 million
has got 29 Nobel Prize winners & Switzerland with
population 7.8 million has got 25 Nobel prize winner.
What is worse is that no Indian has ever won the
prestigious Fields Medal. Which is shame for a country
which gave the world ‘Zero’ and the ‘Decimal System’,
and which is home of eminent mathematicians like
Aryabhatt, Bhaskaracharya, and Ramanujan.
Time to retrospect…..
• In such a scenario, can a poor child in some remote village
even think of getting a Nobel Prize, leave alone dreaming
about it.
• But that is the whole idea behind Nobel Laureate
Academy. To make them not just dream but firmly believe
that they have got everything in order to accomplish this.
• One of the greatest mathematician of all times Srinavas
Ramanujan himself was from a poor family and never
went to college.
The Aim…………
The main objective of Nobel Academy is to track the talented bunch of
students from economically impoverished sections and hone their skills by
providing a conducive environment.
To Nurture & motivate underprivileged children to take scientific research as
a career.
Focus will remain on identifying and nurturing young scientists from
impoverished backgrounds. To give them a chance to dream about Nobel
Prize and Fields Medal, and putting every bit of effort to make this dream
come true.
Talent knows no boundaries. It is everywhere. All one needs is to spot talent
and nurture it to let it blossom.
Nobel Academy is a highly ambitious and innovative educational and training
program which aims to bestow the world with some enormous talents .
Great Opportunity
Nobel Academy’s attempt is to utilize the highly
talented populace of India and give them all the
opportunities to take and win Nobel Prize/Fields
Medal for India . Or at least the Shanti Swarup
Bhatnagar Prize for Science and Technology, the
highest honor in India for contribution in field of
Mathematics, Science or Technology.
TARGET FROM
The academy would source and select 50 meritorious talent from
among the economically backward sections of Rajasthan
Every year we would select 8-10 students who are between
5th
to 10th
Grade.
BEST INSTITUTIONS
• The students would be provided with the best facilities and
learning environment
They would be shaped for:
• Top science institutions of India like IISc., NISER, IISERs etc.
• India's most prestigious institutions like IIT, AIIMS.
• International institutions like Cambridge, Harvard, Oxford,
MIT.
Similar Establishments
1. SUPER 30 : Founder Mr. Anand Kumar .They select 30 students
every year and prepare them for IIT-JEE . They have made a
record of 100% selection in a year . It is successfully running in
Patna. Web site :- www.super30.org
2. OLYMPIC GOLD QUEST: Founders Mr. Geet Sethi and Mr. Prakash
Padukone. Olympic Gold Quest supports 21 athletes and
preparing them to win Olympic Gold Medal for India.
Web Site:- http://olympicgoldquest.in/
3. Founded by Mr. Mohnish Pabrai, Dakshana is working with
Navodaya Vidyalaya in India, and they have a record of
giving education to poor kids, and getting them into IIT.

• We will rent a hostel in Jaipur to accommodate 50 students .
• We shall hire a CEO, who will make this whole venture successful . This

• Rajasthan, is a state with a population of 50 million people and we shall
select 10 extraordinary , God gifted , high IQ(150+) candidates every
year with a pre-defined selection program which is 10 times tough than
GRE/GMAT/CAT/JEE/IAS.
The Procedure ...
• Initially we will take only male candidates. These students will go to
regular school in Jaipur.
• We will provide them with top class faculties, facilities like library,
laboratory and an overall environment conducive for grooming and
nurturing science talent.
The Procedure...
• We shall ensure that 100% of these students will be selected in
institutes like IIT , AIIMS , IISc. , NISER , IISER, HARVARD, CAMBRIDGE,
OXFORD, MIT etc.
• Once they pass out from colleges, we will be continuously mentoring
them to win Nobel prize. If 5% achieve this, our mission will be
successful . For the rest 95% also we shall ensure that they will do
exceedingly well in area of scientific research and will be highly
successful in their life.
Selection Criteria
We will select students based on mainly two criteria:-
(A) Poor family background who cannot afford higher education.
(B) IQ above 150+. We believe that out of every 1000 child , one has

• Gary Kasporov 190
• Bobby Fischer 187
• Charles Darwin 165
• Albert Einstein 160
Other Criteria
Other than IQ , students will be judged on the basis of following
criteria.
• EQ (Emotional Quotient)
• APTITUDE FOR SCIENCE/MATHEMATICS
• APTITUDE FOR RESEARCH & INVENTION
• IMAGINATION/CREATIVITY/INNOVATION

• We estimate that every candidate we will be incur Rs 2 Lacs every
year. So the Budget to run this kind of institute is Rs. 1 Crore
a year.
• This institute will run under the “Pratham Shiksha Trust” .We are
• We are already running a charity school.
www.prathamshiksha.org
• This money will be collected from donations and charity funds.
We think that if we are able to execute our plan successfully ,
