I am an experienced research analyst and creative writer with a not-for-profit organization
committed to the development of corporate governance and best practice. I have, in the course of
my career, developed excellent problem solving skills and also have a good analytical mind that
enables me work through complex challenges and deliver excellent results in a timely and orderly
manner. I believe I can put to use all my expertise in corporate governance, to promote good
governance in ANY organization.
With over 2 years post-NYSC experience in planning, organizing, and writing in various
publications, I believe my resourcefulness in atmosphere, training, support and tools are no
doubt.
I have also had the privilege of working with a broadcasting organization as a reporter
(Internship), so am a very resilient reporter. In terms of qualification, I hold a BSc in Mass
Communication from the Delta State University, Abraka, Delta State, Nigeria and also in the final
stages of becoming a chartered personnel manager with the Chartered Institute of Personnel
Management (CIPM).

Principle responsibilities
Overall responsibility for achieving the Company’s vision of becoming a template
for the formulation and enforcement of corporate governance standards in Nigeria
through research. Responsible for:
Research
 Carrying out research on Corporate Governance issues in Nigeria;
 Writing for the organization’s various publications e.g. NewslettersSM,
CorpGov ReportsSM and Journals;
 Among the Panel of Contributors to the publications: Directors’
Handbook on Corporate Governance; Corporate Governance
Reporting in Nigeria;
 Collation and analysis of research data for the publication – Nigerian
Observatory on Corporate Governance;
 Contributing in advocating for the best practice of corporate
governance in Nigeria;
 Assist with co-ordination of trainings seminars, conferences on
corporate governance and other related issues;
 Monitoring Compliance level of organizations with the various Codes
of Corporate Governance in Nigeria;
 Analysis and Evaluation of the Board Composition of Publicly Quoted
Companies in Nigeria;
 Assist with conducting interview session with corporate governance
and boardroom experts.
Programme Co-ordination
 Performing administrative duties related to planning, directing and
coordinating both the academic and operational activities of the
organization;
 Assisting in sourcing for mailing lists;
 Utilizing available resources and websites in an efficient manner to help
enhance activities of the organization;
 Developing the ability to work on social media for programme
publicity;
 Assisting in the co-ordination of the organization’s Programmes;
 Conducting market research on organizations interested in Board
Enhancement Programmes (BEPs);

 Developing and maintain professional contacts;
 Developing and writing proposals to various organizations for BEPs.

 Managing strategic client relations and client contracts;
