2. Earth-
• Earth is the planet where we all live.
• Earth, our home planet, is a world unlike any other.
• The third planet from the sun, Earth is the only place in the known
universe confirmed to host life.
• With a radius of 3,959 miles, Earth is the fifth largest planet in our
solar system. The poles are slightly flattened that’s why it is described
as a Geoid.
• Earth’s 2/3 surface is already covered with water, that’s why it is
called a blue planet.

3. • Earth have favorable life conditions that support life they are-
1. It is neither too hot nor too cold
2. Water
3. Atmosphere
4. Gases like oxygen, carbon dioxide
• Earth have 2 types of movements rotation and revolution.

4. What is Revolution?
Ans: The movement of the Earth around the Sun on a fixed part is a revolution.
It takes 365 days to complete a revolution and make a year.
