SCENE1: THE ACCIDENT
Alyzza is living in a mountainous barangay in the City of Naga. She is living with her
parents and grandparents. But an accident changes her life.
Noel: (Calling loudly) Manong Sebastian, Manang Felisa, Alyzzah where are you?
Manong Sebastian, ManangFelisa, Alyssa…
Alyzza:Uh…(surprise) Noel, what brings you here?
Noel: Uhmm… (In teary eyes) ahmm… Alyzza, Aling Celia and Manong Theodore…. (crying)
Alyzza:Noel… What happen? (Confuse) Tell me directly, why you were acting like that? (In
panic notion) What happen to my parents?
Noel: Ahhm… Alyzza I have something bad news for you. (Manong
Sebastian and ManangFelisa arrive)
Manong Sebastian: (Interrupted) what is that Noel?
ManangFelisa: Yes Noel, tell us.
Noel: Manang Felisa, Manong Sebastian, Alyzzah your mother and father encountered an
accident early this morning in the SRP. While they are riding a motorcycle an 18-wheeler truck
suddenly bumped their motorcycle. They were rescued and brought to the nearest hospital but…
the doctors declared them dead on arrival.
Alyzah: No… I won’t believe you. You’re lying.

Noel: Allyzah, I’m telling you the truth. My father called me to report this incident. He was the
one who was contacted by the respondents during the accident.
Manong Sebastian: What?... This is impossible.
Manang Felisa:Ohh! God why did it happen to us?
Alyzah: No… I can’t accept this…
Narrator:Allyza, Manong Sebastian, Manang Felisa and Noel went to the hospital, where Aling
Celia and Manong Theodore were brought by the respondents. They claimed the dead bodies of
the two.
SCENE 2: THE MELANCHOLY
In the hospital Allyza, Manong Sebastian, Manang Felisa and Noel mourned for the loss of
lives of the two individuals whom they loved. But something horrible happened next.
Allyzah:Mom, Dad…(while crying) why did you leave me? Why did you leave us? I can’t
survive without the two of you beside me. What will happen to me?
Manang Felisa: Celia, Theodore wakes up…(while crying)
Manong Sebastian: Leaving us is the most painful situation we’ve been through but I know this
is God’s will. May your souls will rest in peace. I promise to take good care of your beloved
daughter.
Noel: That’s enough God has his own purpose. Let’s respect his will. (Looking to the direction
of Manang Felisa) Manang! What happen? Are you okay?
Allyzah:Grandmother? Are you okay? (Manang Felisa encountered difficulties in breathing and
she collapse)
Manong Sebastian: Noel call the doctor…(while holding his wife’s body) Felisa … Felisa…
SCENE 3:OPPORTUNITY OR FALLACY
At that moment Felisa also died due to heart attack because of what happen. Allyzah and
his grandfather suffer downcast because of the melancholy due to their love ones’ death.
After the burial, Alyzzah’s friend talks to her and offers an opportunity to work in the city.
Allyzah was convinced and was allured by the great offer.
Alyzzah:(talked to her grandfather while they are having dinner in the kitchen) Grandfather… I
want to tell you something.
Manong Sebastian: Yes Alyzzah, what is that?

Allyzzah:Grandfather, I know that you can’t support to send me to college.
Manong Sebastian: Who told you that?
Alyzzah: It’s my opinion grandfather, I know that you are not that strong to work in the fields to
support me and I observed that you are suffering from asthma. And I feel useless if I kept on
depending on you.
Manong Sebastian: My beloved granddaughter, don’t worry about me. I’m okay, I’m strong
and no matter what it takes I will send you to college. I promise that to your beloved parents and
grandmother.
Allyzah:But grandfather you are too old… I don’t want you to suffer more because of me.
Manong Sebastian: Don’t think of me Alyzzah think for your future. As what you’ve said I am
old and when I leave in this world I want you to have a better life.
Alyzzah: I understand you grandfather but my best friend Cristy who came from the City is
offering me an opportunity to study in college and to work at the same time. I will be a working
student of her employer.
Manong Sebastian: What? No, I can’t let you work in the city just to send yourself in school. I
know how difficult is that and I can’t afford to think of you to suffer.
Alyzzah:Please grandfather, I’m begging you…
Manong Sebastian:Allyzah it would be a very tiring experience for you.
Alyzzah:No, grandfather I will be okay I promise. If I cannot survive I will tell you immediately
but for now, I want to grab this great opportunity.
Manong Sebastian: Okay, my beloved granddaughter. But, make sure to follow your promise
okay?
Alyzzah: Yes grandfather.
SCENE 4: THE ARRIVAL
When Alyzzah arrive in the City, she was mesmerized by the view. Her best friend brought
her on her employer around 6:00 PM.
Cristy:Friend, this is the resto that we are going to work. If you will work hard here for sure you
will earn a lot.
Alyzzah:Friend, what is my work here? The place seems to be unusual to me. The entrance
seems to be full of lights but inside it’s a little bit darker.
Cristy:Of course friend this is unusual to you because this cannot be seen in our place.
Alyzzah:So, what is my work here?

Cristy:Okay, stay here for a while I will find our employer first. (Cristy left Alyzza on the
bench, when she returns she is with a young man.)
Cristy:Ahm… Alyzzah this is Mr. Andrew Lim, our employer.
Alyzzah:Nice to meet you sir! (Alyzza move her hand for a handshake but Mr. Lim rejected
her so Alyzza felt embarrass.)
Cristy:(whisper) It’s okay friend. (Alyzzah nodded)
Mr. Lim: What’s your name again?
Alyzzah: Alyzzah sir…
Mr. Lim: Okay Alyzzah prepare for the big night this evening. (Alyzzah is
confuse) If you have some inquiries don’t hesitate to ask Cristy.
Alyzzah: ahhm...(hesitant) yes… sir
Cristy: I will be the in-charge for her Sir don’t worry.
Mr. Lim: Excuse me!
SCENE 5: THE REVELATION
Cristy explain to Alyzzah about the nature of their job. Alyzzah felt hesitant about this and
she felt worried about what will happen to her in the Resto Bar.
Cristy: Friend today is Saturday so we called this as big night. Many customers would come
here in our bar for enjoyment. So prepare yourself don’t worry I’ll take good care of you.
Alyzzah: Cris… you told me that I will be a housemaid. You told me that I will be a working
student of a rich family.
Cristy: I’m sorry Alyzzah, I did not mean to offend you. But there’s no other way I could solve
my problem.
Alyzzah:What’s your problem? (In a loud voice) Why I am part of it?
Cristy: Look Alyzzah my mother suffers in severe tuberculosis and I need to borrow money
from Mr. Lim but he asks me to find a girl that I will bring when I get back.
Alyzzah: What?! How dare you! Why did you do this to me? I consider you as my best friend.
Cristy: I’m sorry Alyzzah for not telling you the truth. But, don’t worry I will make it sure that
you will be okay in this place. For now, let’s get ready for the big night. (Alyzzah did not
respond)

SCENE 6: THE BIG NIGHT
Alyzzah did not know what to do. She was hesitant of everything. At this point she told to
herself not to trust anyone even Cristy her best friend.
Cristy: Alyzzah let’s go. There are many customers outside. Let’s serve those drinks and food
they ordered.
Alyzzah: Okay, I will follow you. (While serving the customers Allyzah observe her
surroundings.)
Cristy: Are you okay?
Alyzzah: ahm… (She nodded)
Cristy: If someone will give you money accept it, it’s just a tip. But if they are offering you
something like bringing you outside, you have the choice to reject it then walk away.
Alyzzah: Okay, copy. Thank you for the information. ( Even if she doubted it, it seems like she
has no choice.
SCENE 7: MEETING THE STRANGER
On the big night he meets a stranger who happens to be a police officer and it offers her
another job.
Police Officer: Miss! Can I have (name of the drink I don’t have an idea)
Alyzzah: Okay Sir! I’ll get your order. (After a few minute Alyzzah return bringing the cop’s
order) Here’s your order Sir. (When she was about to leave, the Police Officer called her
attention.)
Police Officer:Ahm… Miss are you new here?
Alyzzah: Yes, Sir! Excuse me.
Police Officer: For a while Miss. What brought you here? Are you aware of what kind of job
you are in? (Alyzzah did not respond and looked away.) Oh… I think you’re not.
Alyzzah: Ahm… Sir! I know that you are customer here but with all due respect, that’s none of
your business Sir.
Police Officer: I’m sorry Miss, I did not mean to offend you. By the way I’m PI/SUPT Santos.
( while giving his hand)

Alyzzah: I’m Alyzzah De los Reyes and your right I’m new here, in this place that I don’t even
know.
Police Officer:Nice meeting you Alyzzah. But if I were you Alyzzah you should leave this
place immediately. You don’t know what will happen to you in this type of environment.
Alyzzah: Thanks for your concern Sir. I appreciate it from a stranger like you. But my
first concern if I will leave in this place, where should I go? It’s my first time here and I don’t
have friends nor relative to stay.
Police Officer:That is not a problem Alyzzah, since you are new here and only few knows
about you that’s a good reason if you will work for me I mean the government as a police asset.
Alyzzah:(Become more hesitant and at the same time confuse) I’m sorry Sir but I cannot
accept your offer right now.
Police Officer: (Laughs) Don’t worry Alyzzah I’m not in a hurry. So here is my calling card,
don’t hesitate to call me if you change your mind. But remember Alyzzah opportunity knocks
once so better accept it as long as the offer is still there.
Alyzzah: (Accepts the calling card and kept it inside her pocket) I’ll think about it. (Then,
Alyzzah walks away)
SCENE 8: I MISS YOU GRANDFATHER
The big night was over,Alyzzah together with Cristy went up in the third floor of the Resto
Bar for them to sleep. It’s a place where all girls will stay.
On the next day, Alyzah miss her grandfather Sebastian that’s why she called Noel their
neighboor and at the same time her childhood friend.
Alyzzah: (phone ringing) Noel please, answer the phone.
Noel: Hello! Alyzzah, How are you? Thank God you contacted me.
Alyzzah: I’m fine Noel. How about you? Ahm… by the way can you call my grandfather and
hand him the phone?
Noel: Yes, Sure I will call Manong Sebastian for a while… (Shouting and at the same time
running towards Manong Sebastian’s house) Manong Sebastian… Manong Sebastian…
Alyzza is calling…
Manong Sebastian:Noel I’m here, come inside.
Noel: (Get inside) Manong Sebastian Alyzzah is calling and she wants to talk to you. (He
hand him the phone.)
Manong Sebastian: Hello, Alyzzah (weak voice).

Alyzzah: Hello grandfather! (In teary eyes) How are you?
Manong Sebastian: I’m okay granddaughter, don’t worry about me. How about you? Alyzzah is
your employer okay?
Alyzzah: I’m fine too, Grandfather. (She thinks for a while). Ahmm… yes my employer is
okay… he is very kind to us.
Manong Sebastian: That’s great Alyzzah, I’m happy to hear that.
Alyzzah: Grandfather do not spend long hours in the field okay, I promise to send you money
so that you can buy foods to eat and for your maintenance medication.
Manong Sebastian: Don’t worry about me granddaughter. I am okay, I can handle myself
here so don’t think too much about me.
Alyzzah: Okay grandfather, take care always I miss you. I hope to see you soon.
Manong Sebastian: (Smile) You are so thoughtful Alyzzah, thank you for your concern. I will
give back the phone to Noel he wants to talk to you. Bye, for now granddaughter. I miss you too
and I also hope to see you soon. (Manong Sebastian gave the phone to Noel)
Noel: Hello! Alyzzah. I have something to tell you.
Alyzzah: Yes Noel, what is that?
Noel: (Walks away from Manong Sebastian) we sent Manong Sebastian in the hospital
yesterday because he undergone difficulties in breathing.
Alyzzah: What? Is my grandfather okay? What are the doctors’ findings?
Noel: They find out that your grandfather suffered from minor heart attack he has also a
complication with hypertension and he has arthritis as well.
Alyzzah: What? (Crying) How did he acquire those types of illness?
Noel: Alyzzah, stop crying I don’t want to hear you crying. But Alyzzah, I guess , maybe he
undergone heart attack because he miss you or probably, it is his age that complicates, he is too
old Alyzzah to be alone. So if I were you, come back and take good care Manong Sebastian.
Alyzzah: No, Noel I can’t do that if I will go home I cannot find money to support the
maintenance medication for my grandfather. But Noel I will ask you a favour.
Noel: Yes, Alyzzah what’s that?
Alyzzah: Look my grandfather for me, please. I will send you money for his foods and
medication please Noel, I’m begging you.
Noel: Yes Alyzzah, don’t worry, I and my mother will take good care of you grandfather. He
will be safe with us.
Alyzzah: Thank you Noel, I owe you a lot.

Noel: You’re welcome Alyzzah. Call oftentimes so that, you can talk to your grandfather and
visit him oftentimes because I know he was missing and longing your presence.
Alyzzah: Yes, Noel I will. Thank you again. Bye for now
Noel: Bye Alyzzah, take care always.
SCENE 9: ANOTHER OFFER KNOCKS HER WAY
Narrator: Days passed by and Alyzzah is still working in the resto bar. She sends money to
Noel for her grandfather’s medication and needs. She also visits in their place once a week
to check his grandfather’s situation. One day, her attention was being called by her
employer, Mr. Lim.
Cristy: Friend, You were called by Mr. Lim to his office. He is waiting you right now.
Alyzah: What for?
Cristy: I don’t know, just go and approach him.
Alyzzah: Okay, Excuse me.( She walks to find Mr. Lim, when she arrived in the front of Mr.
Lim’s office she knocks three times)
Mr. Lim: Come in.
Alyzzah: Good afternoon Sir.
Mr. Lim: Kindly take your seat.
Alyzzah: Thank you sir!
Mr. Lim: What do you want, juice, coffee or tea?
Alyzzah: No thank you sir! I’m full.
Mr. Lim: Okay Alyzzah, I’m sorry for being rude sometimes.
Alyzzah: No problem Sir, I understand.
Mr. Lim: I call you in my office for a very big favour.
Alyzzah: (nervous) Ahm… what…what is that Sir?
Mr. Lim: Alyzzah, I want you to marry me.
Alyzzah: (Shocked and surprised, she stood up) Pardon sir? Marry you? As in literally you mean
wedding? But, why me Sir? I mean there are many girls out there. They are prettier than me
and unlike me they are wealthy.
Mr. Lim: Alyzzah calm down. Yes, I mean it. Let’s get married. That is our family culture.
Look Alyzzah, In Chinese if you are the eldest grandson you need to get married before your

grandfather died. And at this moment I badly need your help, my grandfather was admitted to
Saint Luke’s Medical Center because of stroke and I don’t have the luxury of time to spend
finding the girl that is best for me.
Alyzzah: But Sir, marriage is not as easy as you think.
Mr. Lim: I know Alyzzah, but don’t worry after our marriage we will not stay with each other,
I mean that when my grandfather will die. I will file and annulment. In return, I will give you
25% of my assets and liabilities.
Alyzzah: No Sir! Find another girl that will accept your favour, it’s…it’s not me. (Tries to
walk away)
Mr. Lim: (Stopped her by holding her arms) Alyzzah I need your help. I will pay you 1 million
pesos on the day of our wedding that’s the first payment if you accept my offer. Think about it
first. If you decided to accept my offer, come directly to my office to arrange our wedding
as soon as possible. (Then he let her go.)
SCENE 10: THE EVACUATION
After hearing those words from Mr. Lim, Alyzzah decided to move away from the place
where she stays. He called PI/SUPT Santos to ask for help to find a new place for her to
stay. They easily find a boarding house for rent. Immediately the police officer offers
Alyzzah to pay for the two months down payment and two months advance, Alyzzah
agreed with him. After paying the boarding house, the police officer helps for her to
arrange her things. They also eat lunch together and afterwards, they moved in separate
ways. Alyzzah decided not to quit her job as long as she cannot find another stable job. On
the night of her duty, Cristy approach her.
Cristy: Hi! Friend, I thought you get fired the day that you left us.
Alyzzah: No, I decided to find a better place for me to stay.
Cristy: Why? Do you find me or the other girls annoying?
Alyzzah: No, I just want to be alone.
Cristy: Ahh… okay, but that’s an additional expenses for you.
Alyzzah: It’s okay I can still manage. Excuse me for a while I will refill the ice.
Cristy: Okay friend, if you have problem don’t hesitate to tell me. I’ll be here for you.
Alyzzah: Thank you friend.
SCENE 11: THE OWNER OF THE BOARDING HOUSE MOVES

Alyzzah noticed that the old man, Mr.Buenavista, seems to be kind to her. He often gives
Alyzza anything including foods. He also kept on visiting Alyzzah in her room.
Mr.Buenavista: (Knocks the door three times). Alyzzah are you there?
Alyzzah: Yes, Mr.Buenavista (as she opens the door).
Mr.Buenavista: I cook pork adobo and it’s too many that’s why I bring part of it to my
borders and this is your part.
Alyzzah: Thank you, Mr.Buenavista. How thoughtful of you to cook for your children and
for your wife.
Mr.Buenavista: ahh…(smiling). I’m a widower now my wife passed away years ago. So,
I’m single and ready to mingle…
Alyzzah: (Laugh) You have a great sense of humor Mr.Buenavista.
Mr.Buenavista: Oh!... No, I’m not kidding I’m serious. If I have a girlfriend I will give her my
monthly pension.
Alyzzah:Ahh… I see… (She noticed something about Mr. Beunavista’s statements so she
diverts the topic). Excuse for a while Mr.Buenavista, I’m hungry so, I will eat your pork adobo.
Thank you again for this. (She closed and locked the door and Mr.Buenavista walked away.)
SCENE 12: The unexpected visitor
Alyzzah was doing the household chores in her apartment, today was her rest day so she
decided to clean it. Later on…..
Alyzzah: God! I’m almost done. Dang, so tired, opppss! it’s already 12 noon I almost forgot my
lunch.
( Knock! Knock! Knock!)
Officer: Alyzzah are you there.
Alyzzah: yes, who’s that please?
Officer: oh it’s me Jacob.
Alyzzah: Jacob who?(she was confused. She never met someone whose name is Jacob. But he
assumed that it was the officer) Uuhm, officer is that you? (She salightly open the door) uhh..,
Officer, what are you doing here? By the way, get in inside.
Officer: Erase the formality alyzzah. Call me Jacob, were friends right? So from now on, call me
Jacob Santos. I’m here to visit and monitor you if you're okay and safe in here.

Alyzzah: yes from the day you helped me to move here. Don’t worry about me Jacob I’m fine
here, Mr. Buenavista is a good person and he even bring foods here sometimes.
Jacob: oh that’s good to hear but don’t trust that man easily always lock the door when you
leave and before you sleep.
Alyzzah: Thank you for the concern Jacob I can handle myself? And I don’t think that he will
harm me….Uh, what do you want juice or tea?
Jacob: no, thank you. You know, you really are gullible. You really trust people whom who
have encountered with just small period of time. You should be careful. Well anyways, did you
take your lunch already? let’s go out for lunch.
Alyzzah: honestly, not yet. I cleaned all of these stuffs so I almost forgot my lunch.
Jacob: Then, let’s have lunch together. It’s my treat.
Alyzzah: (want to refuse but I’m hungry) Okay let me think first. (after 3 seconds) Uh okay, let’s
go.
(Then they laughed together)
SCENE 13: The lunch
The two of them took their lunch in a three star restaurant because Alyzzah didn't want in
an expensive one since it’s her first time with that kind of restaurant.
Jacob: are you sure you want to eat here!
Alyzzah: don’t worry about me Jacob its fine with me.
Jacob: okay, waiter!
Waiter: may I take your order sir/ ma'am.
Jacob: Give us this, this and this (pointing out what’s on the menu), Alyzzah what’s yours
Alyzzah: uhh (smiled innocently) just same as with yours.
Jacob: okay, so two serves for that (facing the waiter).
Waiter: okay sir!
(While waiting for their order Jacob kept on talking when someone interrupted their conversation
and catch their attention, a male Briton voice from apart. )
Mr. Lim: alyzzah

Alyzzah: Mr. Lim what are you doing here.
Mr. Lim: I came here for a business meeting but in last minute they cancelled it for an
emergency.
Alyzzah: I see,uhh here, by the way Jacob this is Mr. Lim my boss, Mr. Lim this is Jacob my
friend.
Jacob: Nice to meet you Mr. Lim (rooting Mr. Lim’s eye as if he was examining his attitude).
Mr. Lim: my pleasure (positioned his hand towards Jacob’s hand).
Jacob: did you take your lunch Mr. Lim? I assumed not yet since your meeting was cancelled,
you can join us if you want.
Alyzzah: yes Mr. Lim you can join us.
Mr. Lim: I appreciate the offer but I need to go back to my office I have many things to do,
maybe next time. See you around Aly and…… you Jacob, bye.
SCENE 14: Full of pervert bastard
Alyzzah was busy preparing herself for the big night of their Resto Bar every Saturday
they usually had a big time costumer and they must look beautiful and presentable.
Christy: are you ready! Alyzzah.
Alyzzah: Yup very much ready.
Christy: Remember what I said alyzzah, if you don’t what the costumer and they requested to
join you just excuse yourself and leave immediately, okay?
Alyzzah: Okay-okay thanks for the concern, so let’s go, they're waiting for us.
Christy: okay
While serving, Alyzzah looks good with her outfit. She was seductive but in other way that
whenever she passed by, customers can’t resist themselves but give her their full attention.
But her boss seems not liking it for he only wanted Alyzzah to his wife alone. Later on…
Christy: Alyzzah Mr. Lim wanted to see you in his office.
Alyzzah: whyz? Is there something wrong I made like refusing those pervert bastard in the
table?

Christy: honestly, I don’t even know why, so you better go in his office and see for yourself.
Alyzzah: okay-okay thank you.
Scene 15: The sweet argumentation
Alyzzah then immediately went to her boss’s office to know what he is up for.
Alyzzah: (knock! Knock! Knock!) Mr. Lim are you there this is alyzzah.
Mr. Lim: yes! Get inside Aly.
Alyzzah: Is there something wrong sir, Christy said you’re looking for me.
Mr. Lim: yes! Aly there’s something wrong with the people out there.
Alyzzah: what! I didn't understand you sir
Mr. Lim: didn't you notice the people out there? Like the way they looked at you. It seems like
they…. looked at you perversely.
Alyzzah: Really sir? So what do you expect them to do in this nature of business? Well, don’t
worry sir, I’m getting used to it. And I can handle it by myself. (she tries to walk out).
Mr. Lim: But,……
Alyzzah: I didn't do anything sir, I'm just doing my job and also, I don’t care about them.
(Mr. Lim stares Alyzzah for a moment)
Mr. Lim: You know that I am offering you something. I swear you will live the way you wanted
to be. I’ll take you out from this kind of job.
Alyzzah: You know what sir, I wonder why you’re acting like a possessive boyfriend when in
fact I never accepted your offer yet. And, you should be happy, the more they adored me, the
more money they will invest in your Resto Bar.
Mr. Lim: you know what Aly, I mean all what I say, the marriage I offered you…….I… I was
serious about it. I’m waiting only for your approval Aly. Please, don’t make it so hard for me. I
can’t take seeing how they looked at you, God, they are getting into my nerves Aly.
(Allyzah doesn’t know what to do upon hearing those words from Mr. Lim. She almost drowned
with the sincerity of the man in front of her. But, she’s still afraid of what will happen next.)
SCENE 16: officer’s confession

That night Jacob fetch Alyzzah from her work, she was surprised seeing him there smiling at her
but when she look at her right side she saw the angry face of Mr. Lim looking at her. Aly didn't
mind her boss from a far; instead she leads her way to Jacob.
Alyzzah: Hey, what’s with that smile and what are you doing here by the way.
Jacob: I’m here to fetch you I remember that you will be coming home late tonight and it’s
dangerous for you going home alone in the street.
Alyzzah: wow, I’m flattered and at the same time shy….. you always think of my safety and I
really don’t know how to pay you in return.
Jacob: uh.. oh, don’t think of that, I never wished you to repay. The fact that you had trusted me,
it is already enough for me.
Alyzzah: (smiled dearly)….
(While travelling… Jacob muttered something)
Jacob: haiisst.. I am waiting for the time that you and I will end up into something more than
just friends.
Alyzzah: Pardon?
Jacob: uhh.. ahmm..I just want to end this night with you or to see you before I sleep.
Alyzzah: (laughs) whatever Jacob.
Jacob: you’re not taking it seriously, are you? (Jacob’s face turns to sadness)
Alyzzah: just stick to the point Jacob.
Jacob: alright I like you Alyzzah from the first time I saw you that night there’s something in
you that caught my attention.
Alyzzah: uhmm you really are serious, aren’t you?
Jacob: (sighs) Yes, I am.
Alyzzah: You know what Jacob, I guess there’s no reason for me not to like you back, but it
seems like I am not yet ready to be in a relationship. I want to give all my attentions to family for
now. I hope you’ll understand.
Jacob: Okay, I understand.
(Then, Alyzzah waves Jacob and stepped inside her room)

Scene 17: The News
After the confession, she prepared herself to sleep but something was bothering her, yet, she
can’t identify what it is and with the fact that the two men are expressing their feelings towards
her. Her eyebrows rose when she heard her phone ringing, and it was Noel. She immediately
picked up the phone.
Alyzzah: hey! Noel is something wrong.
Noel: yes Alyzzah, about Manong Sebastian we brought him to the hospital again, he undergone
difficulties of breathing again and that scares us more. I’m sorry Alyzzah for not telling his
condition to you because he kept on telling his okay and begging us not to tell you. He don’t
want to add your burdens.
Alyzzah: ohh my god! You should have told me this earlier… You should have to (She broke
her voice and started to cry).
Noel: We know what you feel right know Alyzzah just stay strong for your grandfather and I
hope you will understand us on why we’re doing this.
Alyzzah: (crying) grandfather I’m sorry if I’m not there to take good care of you. Please Noel
update me anytime, if money is needed then I’ll make a way, I’ll find side lines here just to save
my Grandfather.
Noel: Okay, Alyzzah.. and Please, do take good care of yourself, too.
Alyzzah: Okay, Noel. I will, I will….
Scene 18: The Decision
In the morning, Alyzzah hastily went to Mr. Lim’s office. Her decision is final. She’s now ready
to accept the proposal.
Alyzzah: Mr. Lim are you there (she didn’t hear any sound from inside) Mr. Lim are you inside
(she prefer to open the door but see nothing so she stepped inside to make it sure) Mr. Lim! Mr.
Lim!, Okay you’re not……( She was shocked to what she had seen (O.O) this was her)
Mr. Lim: ohh! Shit! Shit!
Alyzzah: (she sew a man half naked, he has only a towel on his hips. Mr. Lim sometimes take a
bath in the office since he seldom went to his Mansion) owhh I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to enter
sir (closing her eyes while saying this).
Mr. Lim: (burst into laughter) how cute, (Mr. Lim get the mirror and faced it to Alyzzah) see?
You’re blushing Aly. Is this your first time to see a man flaunting his body in front your naked
eyes?

Alyzzah: excuse me I’m not blushing. And.. and… errrrr..
Mr. Lim: So, what made you decide to come here early at my office?
Alyzzah: (doubtful)… I am accepting your offer.
Mr. Lim: Really? ( Mr. Lim moved closer to her as if checking her vital signs).. hmm you’re not
into fever right?
Alyzzah: hmmf.. no? why?
Mr. Lim: It is just that you really don’t like my proposal before. Then, why it has
changed?uhh.. I am just wondering why.
Alyzzah: (started to cry) I badly need a big amount of money right now. My grandfather’s life is
at risk. He is now in the hospital and the least thing I could do now is to accept your offer.
Mr. Lim: Shhhhhh…stop crying, I’ll help you get an expert doctor for your grandfather.
(hugged Alyzzah tightly)
Alyzzah: I am sorry. I’m sorry if I made unfair judgment to you. I thought you’re just the same
with those jerks I encountered inside your Resto bar.
Mr. Lim: uh.. I am just the owner, but I am not like them. Actually this is not the type of
business I wanted to but my parents already set my engagement to the daughter of their business
partner at the age of 20. And I don’t want settle to down early, I want to explore more and enjoy
being single. So, in order for them to cancel it and probably discouraged the family of the girl,
then, I end up having this business.
Alyzzah: So, It was cancelled then?
Mr. Lim: definitely, yes. (he paused for a while then continued) But now I am already 25, and I
guess this is the perfect age to tie a knot with someone I love.
( Alyzzah finds comfort with him and they go out for a date more often)
Scene 19: The unexpected Identity
2 weeks later, when he was about to go home, someone held her hand.
Alyzzah: Jacob? How.. how are you? It’s been two weeks that I never saw you here.
Jacob: Actually, I went here every night to fetch you, but it seems like your enjoying another’s
company.

Alyzzah: Jacob (sad face) I.. I am sorry. I didn’t mean to hurt you. And.. I want to tell you that
we are getting married soon.
Jacob: (shocked but still manage to stay calm) It’s okay, Alyzzah, I do understand. Maybe, I’ll
get over this sooner.
(When Alyzzah inserted the key……)
Jacob: oops.. Be careful, it seems like your dizzy (holding Alyzzah’s hand)
Alyzzah: (felt strange).. I’m okay..you can go now.
Jacob: See you ( he grinned).
(On the next evening, Alyzzah was tired of her work so she immediately went to her apartment.
When she closed the door of her room…..)
Alyzzah: arrgggg. Who are you? (Someone pushes her to the bed, someone who covers his face)
(She heard nothing except his palpitating heartbeat. She tried her best to push the guy but she has
no strength at all. She can’t scream. And, one thing she only knew, she lost something very
important to her, something that is intended for the person who deserves it. She felt disgusted
and belittled. She can’t take to face Mr. Lim after what happened.
Alyzzah: who are you? Why did you do this to me? (crying)
(Alyzzah was shocked when he heard the voice of the guy)
Alyzzah: J….. Jacob?.... how…. Why? (burst into tears)
Jacob: Why? I am rooting for you all this time. I supressed what I really wanted to do with you.
And, wait for the right time. So I guess, this is the right time, right? (laugh)..
Alyzzah: how dare Jacob, I trusted you. I treated you as my closest friend here. But why did you
do this to me?
Jacob: well, you are just the same girls I have in bed. Working in a bar? So what would you
expect us men to treat you? Kneel and begged you to come with us? Huh! We pay for you,
remember that. You’re just nothing but a slut!
(slap)
Alyzzah: How dare you ! I am not what you think. I’ve already told you that. I thought you’re
kindness was real and genuine. All of it was just lies…. Were just lies (crying)…. Well, this

would serve as my lesson now that I shouldn’t have trusted anyone who is very kind at first;
because eventually devil is hiding inside them, they me harm you anytime. Just like what you did
to me.
Jacob: uhhh.. Here (throw her 5 thousand bills) I guess, it is enough and perhaps it is too much.
(then, Jacob Left)
(Alyzzah felt depressed and don’t even want to eat, Gladly she has Mr. Lim beside her)
Scene 20: Acceptance
After few weeks, Alyzzah couldn’t believe that after what happen to her, Mr. Lim still accepted
her. Month later, they planned their wedding immediately. Mr. Lim also closes his Resto bar and
starts something new. He was the heir of her father’s business which a supermarket. And at the
day of their wedding………..
Priest: do you Alyzzah Delos Reyes accept Andrew Lim as your lawful husband?
Alyzzah: Yes, I do.
Priest: how about you Andrew Lim, do you accept Alyzzah Delos Reyes as your lawful wife?
Mr. Lim: Yes, father. I do, I do and I do…
(fastforward)
Priest: I now pronounce you husband and wife. Congratulations, you may now kiss the bride.
(after a moment)
Mr. Lim: why you look so sad? Aren’t you happy?

am walking in the aisle. (tears are falling)
Mr. Lim: I have a surprise for you, come here.
(Outside the church)
Mr. Lim: Surprise….
( Alyzzah was teary-eyed. She saw her Grandfather with Noel smiling at him. He seemed to be
okay, no signs of being admitted to the hospital. Not at all.)

Alyzzah: Am I dreaming? (hugged Mr. Lim).. Thank you so much, you never know how happy I
am today. How happy I am that I’ve met you.
Mr. Lim: So, Do I.
Alyzzah: Grandfather (hugged grandfather tightly) I miss you so much. I am Glad you’re okay
now, thank you so much Noel for taking care of my Grandfather.
Noel: you’re welcome Alyzzah…
Grandfather: Congratulations Granddaughter, You’re now opening a new chapter of your life. I
am wishing you all the best. Don’t worry much about me now, I am doing fine.
Alyzzah: (confused) By the way Noel, who paid the bills in the hospitals? I haven’t remembered
sending you money. I supposed to send it right after my wedding.
(Noel points his lips to Mr. Lim)
Mr. Lim: uhhmm…err.. SURPRISE …. (with wide arms open). I paid it all. And I already let a
doctor to monitor the health of you grandfather… our grandfather rather.
Alyzzah: (hugged her husband tightly while crying)… God really has planned.. I thought my life
would be a total mess. But I was wrong, he send me a gift of which I will treasure till the end of
my life. Thank you (facing her husband) for lifting me up, for being there with me when it seems
like I was about to surrender and end my life. You are now my strength. And , I’ll promise to
you I will be a good wife and a mother of our children, I love you Hon.
Mr. Lim: (tried to face out the dramatic atmosphere) Hmmm.. what about the annulment? We
agreed that we can have an annulment right after the wedding.
(Alyzzah stares at him with sadness)
Mr. Lim: I am just kidding… I love more. I love you every second, minute, hour, day,week and
forever… And I don’t know what my life would have been without you.
Grandfather: (interrupts the conversation) I am hungry, Shall we eat?
Mr. Lim and Alyzzah: ……… (They laughed)
