In the experiment, the mouse with dementia could not recognize the tank’s pedestal and thus continued to swim around (L).
However, the mouse receiving stem cell treatment immediately searched for the pedestal (R). In the above experiment, the
cognitive and physical functions of the rats after stem cell treatment increased by 23.4%, while lifespan increased by 31.3%,
indicating that the use of stem cells was effective in treating dementia.
