Many appropriate technologies already exist to help families in rural Africa who have very limited access to technology. However, the main problem is that these products are not available for sale in local shops in rural African areas, even though a big and increasing part of the African population has the capacity to buy them. The solution proposed is to sell and distribute these appropriate technologies in local shops and through small farmers associations in rural African areas, which would improve people's lives with simple technology solutions.
