5. Abdul Jabbar Khan
It is a great thrill to watch own country’s film at
cinema hall. But before 1956 we had no movie
created by us. We had no film industry. All films
were west Pakistan centered. Directors from west
Pakistan never allowed us to create film of our
own. At 1956 Abdul Jabbar a director from
Bangladesh made his and our first film “Mukh o
Mukhos”. He was the leader of Bangladeshi film
industry. All the actors and actress of this film had
no pre-experience. They all gathered to create
something new, our film industry. Adul Jabber
khan was the director as well as the script writer
and an actor of this film.
6. A scene from Mukh o Mukhos
Storyline
At very beginning of this film we can see a robber
named Samser running away with his gang after
robbing everything of path walker. At time of
going to their safe house they rescued a baby. His
father thought he is dead. After several years
Pakistan government announced a reward to
capture the Samser Robber. But he was able to
hide by giving bribe to inspector Jalal. Afjal and
Kusum member of Samser’s gang loved each
other and was trying to escape. One day Rashida,
sister of Jalal was going to their village with his
father. At this time Samser kidnaped her. The
movie was ended by escaping of Rashida, Afjal
and Kusum, death of Samser, Jalal’s punishment.
7. My Feelings
Inam Ahmed as Samser was good. Though all actors and
were new but they acted perfectly. There are several songs
film. But like “Moner Bone Laglo Dola” song. Well known singer
Abdul Halim singed for this movie. Over all filmed with family
dispute, corruption and unsociable work I like this movie. And it
has a great impact on my mind as it is the start of our film
industry.
