1. The biggest sin towards animals is not hated them but to be
indifferent. This is the essence of inhumanity.

2. This is WHO WE ARE
2 year ago, in Limanu, with no belonging to any organization, with
no financial support, three people were helping abandoned
animals ;
During last year they were lucky to meet some extraordinary
people from “Save The Dogs” Medgidia & Cernavoda – Romania,
with whom they saved the lives of many dogs & cats, they
sterilized, treated and found homes for abandoned animals;
From a big need in the area and from their commitment towards
abandoned animals, recently they decided to form in Limanu the
animal rights organization “ STAAD ”;
This is who we are now and our aim is to save (treat, sterilize and
get ready for adoption) abandoned animals.
So far, in 2011 together with “Save The Dogs” we have saved
over 60 dogs from Limanu, Mangalia & Constanta!
You can help us to save even more…
3. OUR HELP - STERILIZATIONS
In 2011 we helped in our area with free sterilization of
more than 300 dogs & cats. This was done through “Save
The Dogs” Medgidia & their mobile clinic.
4. OUR HELP - TREATMENTS
Mishu was found on the street this summer with a very serious form of mange
and rachitis caused by the lack of food and poor hygiene .
He wasn’t able to walk anymore and the chances for his recovery were very
little.
We decided to give him a chance and it was the right thing to do!
Mishu is a lovely young dog who is going to recover soon.

6. Our help –giving a chance!
Oscar was injured by a car this summer and he couldn’t walk anymore.
The after care treatment didn’t give positive results and the vet gave us
only two options: swimming therapy or euthanasia. We chose the first
option and we are happy we did it!
So far, Oscar has recovered 90% - he can walk and he can run. He still
needs some special care until he is going to be fully recovered (tablets to
help his joints, swimming, massage and good food to give him strenght).
Being a street dog we would like to find a family to adopt him.

7. OUR HELP - GIVING A
CHANCE!
Maisha was picked up from the road after she was injured by a
car. Despite the fact that she lost half of her tail (first surgery) and
she will have to loose one back leg (being too young she has to
wait until february 2012 for the second surgery) she wanted to
live! She is very playful & loveable! She will be given for adoption
after the second surgery.
