EQUIPMENT OPERATION:
Cranes:
Experienced in direct hands-on operation of self-propelled, truck & track mounted cranes with
hydraulic and lattice booms rigged with hook blocks; knowledge of clamshells and dragline
attachments in their proper application. Worked with LMI Computer 300
RIGGER & SIGNALS:
Set-up and safely operate a designated crane equipped with a hook-block using proper operating
procedures while receiving and sending correct hand signals. Select the proper wire rope for a
designated crane type, classification, construction and size, calculate the safe working limit, properly
size, cut, and install wire rope.
EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE:
Perform operator’s daily check, lubrication and operator’s preventative maintenance on cranes in
accordance with manufacturer and OSHA requirements as well as properly check fluid levels, hoses,
belts and lines with all heavy equipment.
Heavy Equipment: Experienced in the safe operation of Dozer, Front End Loader, Scraper, Grader,
Backhoe, Excavator, Skidsteer. Cut/Fill to grade Specifications. Work as part of an excavating team
on an engineering construction project where safety and attention to efficient production methods are
stressed.
Survey & Measurement:
Calculate horizontal, vertical and grade rate measurement; grade rod, slope stakes, volume.
COORDINATED EXCAVATING:
Worked with blueprints gaining experience in project lay-out, grading and
excavation tasks required for a building project. Utilized basic surveying skills, rough and
finish grading, road building, utilities, trenching, setting culverts, material handling and
digging foundations.
