Tracked the effectiveness of sales promotions on the sales of McDonalds’ menu items using real-time data
uploaded from franchisees’ cash registers and made presentations of the findings to McDonalds franchisees.

Conducted survey research in a Computer Assisted Telephonic Interviewing environment for various clients in
Canada and the USA. Gained first-hand experience of advantages and disadvantages of telephonic interviewing.

Collected census forms from those people who had not sent in their census forms. Gained first-hand experience

Research interests include the psychology of people who make charitable donations, mental accounting of
charitable donations, effect of social networks on diffusion of word-of-mouth, perceptions of risk for HIV
transmission, motives for shoppers’ participation in Black Friday sales in the USA and segmentation of the
Canadian snowbird market. Research methods include experiments, surveys, depth interviews and ethnography.
