Mechanical Engineering Projects:
VentureWellBiomedical Competition: Currently part of a design team that is creatinga device that distracts a
patient from any form of injection. The device will implements vein findingfunctions alongwith vibration to
distractfromthe pain. The competition submission dateis May,2016. The projectis for the Roger Williams
University Engineering Design Program.
Autonomous Robotics Design: For the mechatronics coursethrough Roger Williams University,my design group
created an autonomous robot that was capableof sorting8 balls of differingcolor to 2 separatebases within a
4’x4’ playingfield. Our design included color differentiation through a photo transistor and autonomous
movement through implementation of an encoder wheel by means of photo interruption.
