Project, Visio and PowerPoint), MATLAB, LTSpice IV, and LabView. Can program in C++.
Mechanical Engineering Projects:
VentureWellBiomedical Competition: Currently part of a design team that is creatinga device that distracts a
patient from any form of injection. The device will implements vein findingfunctions alongwith vibration to
distractfromthe pain. The competition submission dateis May,2016. The projectis for the Roger Williams
University Engineering Design Program.
Autonomous Robotics Design: For the mechatronics coursethrough Roger Williams University,my design group
created an autonomous robot that was capableof sorting8 balls of differingcolor to 2 separatebases within a
4’x4’ playingfield. Our design included color differentiation through a photo transistor and autonomous
movement through implementation of an encoder wheel by means of photo interruption.
Work Experience:
Town of New Milford Parks & Recreation, New Milford, CT
Park Maintenance | May 2014 – August 2014
Gained experience in operating, repairingand maintaininghigh end landscapingequipment(John Deere 5R
Series & 1600 Series II) and intermediate mowing equipment (Kubota Z Series and Troy BiltWC33).
DG Concrete Construction and Foundations, New Milford, CT
Construction Assistant| May 2012 – May 2014
Summer concrete construction employment. Gained experience layingfoundations, setting forms and footings,
pouringconcrete, floating concrete, and strippingforms. Over two year period took partin 20+ projects.
Research Experience:
Research Assistant, Roger Williams University
Under Dr. Benjamin McPheron PhD | June 2015 – May 2016
Designed a two degree of freedom system with lowfriction. Helped record and process data usingMATLAB.
Performed a dynamic modellinganalysis on the system. Presentingthe results atmultipleconferences (ASME,
ASEE, and IEEE).
Activities: Roger Williams University Varsity Club Crew Team (2012-2014)
Roger Williams University EngineeringClub member (2012-present)
