Executive Summary
All Singles Social Media Website
The attached quality management plan described in detail the steps that will be taken to
ensure compliance with all quality-related specifications, requirements, and laws.
Since the client has stated that safety and reliability are high priorities, the Project Team has
emphasized these aspects in the overall plan. In addition, because of the size of the project,
internal project quality also will be given considerable attention.
ABC Smart, LLC will be basing its quality plan as requiring on strict adherence to ISO
9001:2000 standards for both quality control and quality assurance.
A number of areas are highlighted in the plan as requiring special attention from the
Project Team. Primarily, these areas are related to design, contracting, purchasing, testing, and
document control, although all ISO procedures are covered thoroughly. In particular, ABC Smart
LLC, will keep detailed quality-related records to assist the client in securing the necessary
guideline and user agreements and affordable liability insurance for the ongoing Website
Construction and Operation.
Status reports are expected to be frequent, in keeping with the client’s wishes, but quality
issues will be reported only on an as required basis as well as each significant milestone. The
client will be consulted on all significant quality-related issues and changes.
This document constitutes a formal plan. It will be briefed to the client and must be
approved and signed off by the client or the client’s representative. Once accepted, the Quality
Management Plan cannot be amended except through a formal change control process.
Standards
All Singles Social Media is an ISO 9001:2000-certified company and use the ISO
9001:2000 standard for all project management contracts. All Singles Social Media is also
Organizational Structure
As shown in Figure 8.2 the organizational structure of ABC Smart LLC. includes a quality
system section within its headquarters. These people are available to the Project Manager (PM)
to conduct training, audits, quality assurance, and similar functions. Although not part of the
formal project team, they are considered on-call resources that the PM can task to assist with
quality-related issues.
In addition, ISO 9001:2000, section 4.1.2, mandates the PM to appoint a member of the
project team who, irrespective of other duties, shall be the project authority and point of contact
for all aspects of quality. For the All Singles Social Media, that responsibility has been delegated
to the Team Leader (TL) for Finance.
Responsibilities
All personnel at All Singles Social Media have the following responsibilities for quality
in accordance with ISO 9001:2000, section 4.1.2 overall project responsibility for quality rest
with the PM notwithstanding the defined authority and responsibility delegated to the other
members of the team.

Quality Assurance
Quality assurance ensures that quality processes are implemented. Quality assurance for
the All Singles Social Media project will be managed primarily through the ISO 9001:2000-
mandated activates, with particular attention to the following.
 Design Control
 Contract review
 Document control
 Verification of host
 Verification of purchased of product
 Control of product
 Corrective and preventive actions
 Internal quality audits
Specific quality assurance verification will be based on the requirements described in the
quality in the quality planning process. The methods of providing assurance are shown in table
8.1. The client should note the following additional ABC Smart LLC policies with respect to
quality assurance and workplace safety:
 All material must be at least contractor grade
 All equipment must be certified and approved be the safety standards
 Zero tolerance for any practice that endangers worker’s safety
Quality Control
The construction, web design, and layout will identify in detail the specifications and
standards for the ABC Smart LLC All Singles Social Media project. Quality control of these
requirements will be carried out in accordance with the ISO 9001:2000 standard, with particular
attention to the following:
 Section 4.4.7: Design Verification- to ensure the website design complies with
specifications, codes, and so on
 Section 4.4.8: Design Validation- to ensure that the design is in keeping with the
wishes of the client and investors
 Section 4.6.2: Evaluation of Suppliers- to monitor and control the quality of any
product or service purchased from or subcontracted to a third party that can have
an impact on the overall quality of the project
 Section 4.6.4: Verification of Purchased Product- to confirm prior to use that
delivered goods were in fact those selected and purchased by the PM or the client
 Section 4.10.2: Receiving, Inspection, and Testing- to confirm prior to use the
materials conform to standards
 Section 4.13.2: Review and Disposition of Nonconforming Product- to identify
and quarantine nonconforming product until it can be disposed of, reworked, or
otherwise certified for use by a duly authorized representative of the Project Team
 Section 4.16.1: Control of Quality Records- to ensure that documented proof of
compliance with standards and specifications is captured and stored for future
reference, and handed over to the client upon completion of the project
Reports
Formal quality status reports will be provided at dates and times specified in the Work
Breakdown Structure (WBS), and as agreed on with the client and other stakeholders. Normally,
ABC Smart LLC. will report quality issues by exception (that is, when there is a quality
problem), but quality reporting also will be part of all milestone and end-of-phase meetings.
The quality reports will be sent to the client but also may be sent to other stakeholders for
information or action when there is a need to know. It is ABC Smart LLC.’s responsibility to
document each quality issue and make recommendations on a course of action. It is the client’s
responsibility to approve the course of action.
Documentation
ABC Smart, LLC will require a copy of all legal documents from Groupwise, Inc. We
will provide documentation of the project schedule, project cost and budget, communication plan
and quality management plan. ABC Smart, LLC will provide documentation of your finished
website’s framework and sitemap. The documentation of the website framework and sitemap
includes operator instructions to conduct website maintenance.
Management Approval of the Plan
This plan will be briefed to the client and ABC Smart, LLC management at a point to be
specified in the WBS. Formal approval and sign-off will be required. Once accepted this Quality
Management Plan becomes a key source document for the project and will be safeguarded as
such. Subsequent amendments will be permitted only through a formal quality review process.
