1. KEY ACTIVITIES:
• [Marketing]
o Assist with the development, implementation and direction of international
marketing strategy for each film.
o Provide evaluative feedback to regional and territorial managers regarding local
marketing spend.
o Work closely with distributor United International Pictures and external
agencies to market releases effectively as per international and locally adapted
plans.
! Audience Research: work closely with agencies that conduct qualitative
research on the organisations releases. Usually the research undertaken
is in the form of early, pre- screenings or testing creative (posters,
trailers and TV spots).
• [Creative and Agency relations]
o Brief agencies to create audio-visual (a/v) materials including radio and TV
spots, trailers, electronic press kits (EPKs), show reels and other publicity and
promotional materials.
o Manage the servicing of a/v materials and key to territories and partners
(conversely also obtain necessary approvals for local markets and partners to
activate creative once locally adapted e.g. seek approvals on titles for films into
other languages etc).
o Prepare ad copy and billing block in accordance with contractual agreements.
• [Publicity]
o Implement field publicity campaigns and events such as international press
junkets; World or European film premieres that always involve celebrity & VIP
handling and sometimes requires international travel.
• [Business development, Partnerships and Promotions]
o Arrange set visits for key stakeholders including partners and exhibitors
(specifically on UK and European productions, including the flagship Bond™
franchise).
o Liaise with 3rd party promotional partners to: add value to marketing
campaigns; identify and develop promotional opportunities; enhance publicity
campaigns; and, increase impact with augmented media spend.
o Nurture relationships with senior executives and high-level partners from a
wide range of stakeholders including: Eon Productions, Studio Canal, The
Princes Trust, BMW and many more.
