Why Rosa Gres ceramic
solutions are different
To achieve the level of exigency required by the projects
in which it participates, Rosa Gres has developed its
own elements that make it a cutting-edge company in
the sector.
To the high resistance inherent to high quality porcelain
stoneware products, Rosa Gres adds 3 unique values
that mark the difference and define the brand’s
philosophy of quality:
— Diversity of finishing pieces. Each space has unique
constructive requirements; the function of the special
finishing pieces is to offer a specific solution for every
one of the by covering any architectural element in a
way that makes its finish functional, easy to clean,
comfortable and esthetically perfect. All Rosa Gres
collections count with various finishing pieces, with an
especially broad series for those dedicated to industrial
spaces.
— Exclusive anti-slip finishes. Safety is an essential
theme that Rosa Gres investigates continuously and
comprehensively. As a result, the Rosa Gres anti-slip
products are the safest and most efficient in the
market. The brand designs different types of anti-slip
finishes that adapt to the spatial conditions in which
they are placed and to the look and feel of each specific
design. One especially noteworthy innovation of the
Rosa Gres anti-slip finishes is that they are very easy to
clean and pleasant to touch.
— The porcelain stoneware that is easiest to clean.
Simplifying maintenance and cleaning is a transversal
concept in all Rosa Gres products. It doesn’t only raise
the level of hygiene, a basic element of public use
spaces, but it also helps reduce the resources and time
dedicated to cleaning.

A passion for innovation, two examples:
the New Ceramic Grids & Biostop
TWO INNOVATIVE PORCELAIN STONEWARE MODELS
FOR OVERFLOW POOLSTHAT IMPROVETHEIR ESTHETIC
AND DRAINAGE CAPACITY
They are two grid models made of porcelain stoneware
for overflow pools.Their design responds to a sole
highly demanding idea: to create the perfect grid. They
are the Invisible and Flex grid models. Both models are
made in their entirety with porcelain stoneware.
Recognized with the international architecture award
Architizer A+Awards 2016.
BIOSTOP, THE CERAMIC THAT ELIMINATES BACTERIA
Biostop is a complete and permanent porcelain
stoneware bactericidal solution. It consists of 4
elements with powerful bactericidal action: paving +
hygienic skirting + covering + placement joint. The
great innovation of Biostop is that it acts on the whole
area of the ceramic because the placement joint is also
bactericidal.
Biostop has been recognized with the Honorable
Mention in the Food Safety, Hygiene and Quality
category is the first edition of the BTA Innova Awards
2015.

Zero project, our compromise with
environmental sustainability
Zero Discharge Programme
With the installation of the purification system, we reuse
100% of the productive process water, purifyng 50 m3
of
water every day, thus saving 11.000 m3
per year.
Zero Emissions Programme
We have reduced our CO2
emissions by 22%,we consume
26% less natural gas and we have reduced our energy
consumption by 20%. We generate hot water via solar
energy. We control electricity and water consumption
and emissions into the atmosphere on-line. 100% of our
electricity comes from renewable sources.
Zero Waste Programme
In our plant in Vallmoll we have 30 perfectly indicated
waste control and collection points. Each residue is
separated and stored in a different manner to avoid
that mixing them should make its management difficult.
We count with 24 different residue classifications. We
evaluate waste through authorized companies to have
them reconverted into sub-products.
Total Recycling Programme: 75% Production process
waste recycling and 22% pre-consumer recycled
material in special pieces
We grind the dried rubble and reintroduce it into the
plaster. We evaluate the fired rubble in oder to use it
as a sub-base for roadways or as ceramic raw material.
Manufacturing with porcelain stoneware allows us to
reduce the thickness of the pieces, maintaining their
technical characteristics. This way we consume less
clays and lighten the weight by minimizing the transport
needs and the emissions that go with it.
Save a Tree Programme
We use a respectful packaging. We have changed pallets
for europalets with a recycling coefficient of at least 6.We
participate in the annual plans of packaging reduction
by providing measures such as constant redesigning of
our packaging to reduce weight. We participate in the
ECOEMBES program. Our paper is recycled and chlorine-
free. We can count up to 3.125 saved trees every year
thanks to our environmental policies.
Ecological certifications
Rosa Gres formed part of the commit-
tee for the development of the DAPc®
regulation, the new type III European
ecolabel that assesses the environ-
mental impact during the lifecycle of a
product and its fabrication process.
The Proyecta collection of Rosa Gres
obtained the C2C certification in the
Silver category. From that moment
on, all products are manufactured fo-
llowing C2C criteria.
The use of Rosa Gres ceramic products,
construction systems and placement systems
adds LEED points to buildings.
The raw material used for manufacturing the
wooden tiles for pools comes from contro-
lled areas where it is obtained in a sustaina-
ble manner and favors forest regeneration.
Rosa Gres has been a member of the GBCe
since June 2010. Marcel·lí Sugrañes, presi-
dent of Rosa Gres, represents the group of
GBCe companies in Spain.
Rosa Gres stays true to its commitment
to the Global Compact of the United
Nations and its responsibility to fulfilling
the values promoted by the Compact.

INDUSTRIAL / CACAOLAT FACTORY, SPAIN
The challenge: To meet the standards of hygiene, functionality, resistance and maintenance required
by facilities in which a widely consumed dairy product is produced. The solution: We opted for the
Rosa Gres product Indugres due to its very high resistance to traffic, weight and industrial work; its
impermeability that makes cleaning easier; its homogeneity; and its clear color.
Other noteworthy industrial projects: Agricola International, Bacau Asturpesca, Asturias, Spain / Kitchen, Burger King,
Miranda de Ebro, Spain / Kitchen, KFC, Granollers, Spain / Kitchen, Restaurant Viena, Barcelona, Spain / Kitchen, Hotel
Dreams Playa Mujeres, Biostop 3,000m2
, Mexico
NURSING HOMES: CUGAT NATURA,NURSING HOME OF THE FIAT GROUP,SPAIN
The challenge: To offer a high level of safety to avoid as many falls and slips as possible, especially
in the areas with stairs. Regarding the esthetic, the aim was to potentiate the luminosity and the
cleanliness of the spaces. The solution:We chose the color Proyecta Petra for its clear and luminous
tone. Its anti-slip finish was key,it is pleasant to touch and it offers a very high level of safety, both for
bare feet and for footwear. We used about 5,000m2
of paving and the steps of the same collection.
