Talking about us
Good afternoon, and thank you very much for giving me the opportunity to present.
As I said, PayRandom aims to revolutionize online shopping by introducing a new concept: gamification in the price.
So what is PayRandom? PayRandom is the new way to sell online that (1) increases ecommerce sales, (2) is easy-to-install and (3) improves customer experience.
We associate a price roulette to a product. Luck will determine the final price to pay, always with a big discount for the consumer.
Now you will see how the buying process works in 4 easy steps. Firstly, in the product page, the roulette already appears as well as the lowest price claim.
Moving on, the consumer can see all the information about the roulette and how the process works.
The Payment can be made with PayPal or credit card, and it is previous to the game.
In the last step, the roulette decides the final price. In this case the product is free and the user will probably share this experience on social networks making it viral.
(As you can imagine this is a fun and exciting way to shop online)
PayRandom helps ecommerces increasing their main metrics:
Conversion rate increases by the creation of a new online sales channel (complementary to the traditional one).
Web traffic increases by making more impactful promotions using the lowest roulette price claim.
Repetition rate grows up by the gamification of the purchase moment, making it become fun and exciting (more engagement)
I remember a funny anecdote of that: Once we were selling valencian oranges, and there was a user that got them for free. 45 seconds after he was buying them again and we were in our office thinking uaaau this guy is going to buy 30 kg of oranges. What is he gonna do with so many oranges??
As you can see we are talking about quite a big market, 2.4 million of ecommerces worlwide.
At this moment we can implement PayRandom in the most used web platforms and all the customized websites, which is around 80% of the market.
We started facing the Spanish market, where there are +10 ecommerces using PayRandom.
Specifically, we are targeting ecommerces of medium and high size, selling non-core products with usual discounts and aiming at young people.
We are selling PayRandom in three different ways. But in the beginning we are doing just direct sales and using prescriptors.
Also you can see here our expansion forecast. (starting from the Spanish market, going to Europe and the States and ending up doing an offline prototype)

There are several competitors that seek to increase ecommerce sales through various techniques such Yipiii, Blueknow and Brainsins. But PayRandom is the only one that has converted the price into a game for the Customer.
PayPal: This is our most important milestone: We are a PayPal’s official partner internationally. That provides security and realiabilty not only to the ecommerces but also to the end users and, what’s more important, give us worldwide scaliability since the beginning.
In legal terms, PayRandom is not a game. Unlike the lottery, sales made with PayRandom pays no taxes because the user will always acquire a product.
We charge our customers a monthly fee depending on the product version. Apart from that we offer them extra services which are charged an additional fee. In the future we’ll get a commission from PayPal too.
We offer different packages depending the number of sales as well as the features contracted. We also have a free version to let people try our product up to 50 monthly transactions.
We take advantage of economies of scale so are rate cost/revenue is decreasing. Our expenses are distributed equally between marketing, technology and personnel. We aim to break even in year 2015.
In terms of funding, we have already raised 100k€ and scheduled our first round (of funding) in October this year.
We are looking for 150k€ to help us expand geographically and optimize the product as well as educate the market.
(We are looking for 150k€ for the further development of the product).
Last but not least: the team. We are a complementary group and each one of us is in charge of a key area: Technology, Sales and Operations. Recently Martí Manent, who has a lot of experience in the Internet sector, has joined our company. Martí handles legal issues and advises us on strategy.
Thank you very much for your attention and I will be pleased to answer any questions you may have.
