- 3. 2 • Total Number of VoIP Phone Lines Installed to Date: 13,446 • Projected Number of VoIP Lines: 20,000 ITS manages more than 28,000 telephone lines — including 8,000 which are provided to UNC Health Care. UNC Health Care lines are not included in the University’s VoIP transition. - 7. 5 Virtual FAX / RightFax RightFax is a fax software application that makes faxing easy by allowing users to send and receive faxes directly from the desktop. Open the document you wish to fax and select the “RightFax Fax Printer” option from drop-down list of printers. A cover sheet automatically pops up requesting the recipient’s name, fax number and other key information. Use the Cover Sheet notes to type any text you wish to add to the fax and click Send. Faxes – inbound and outbound - can be viewed from the desktop application.
